BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction 2025, 2026, 2027-2030

2025/12/04 17:55
  • BOB price doubled after fresh liquidity from Bithumb and aggressive perpetual futures positioning
  • Multichain expansion and BTC-backed DeFi narrative support longer-term valuation potential
  • Higher targets remain possible if liquidity persists and DeFi adoption scales through 2026

BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction

BOB price trades near $0.028 after breaking above a multi-week downtrend with a clean reclaim of the upper Bollinger Band. The breakout came after accelerated spot volumes and aggressive perpetual positioning, flipping sentiment from stale to speculative. Early bids held above $0.020, pushing price into the first liquidity pocket near $0.030.

Price Dynamics of BOB (Source: TradingView)

The short-term structure is driven by new capital inflows rather than sustainable fundamentals. Momentum remains strong, but consolidation is likely if price fails to clear $0.033 to $0.035. A pullback toward $0.022 or even $0.020 would be a healthy reset before another move. For higher continuation, BOB needs the Binance perpetual market to sustain open interest into early 2025.

If BTC markets remain constructive and capital flows do not collapse, BOB could attempt a high target near $0.050 in 2025. A weaker environment with thin liquidity could trap price between $0.018 and $0.028.

Market Structure And Liquidity Outlook

The rapid shift in liquidity came from Bithumb, which immediately captured over 23 percent of volume. BOB ranked 11th among the most actively traded assets on the exchange, showing strong demand for new speculative listings from Korean markets. Historically, Korean exchanges produce short bursts of liquidity, so maintaining momentum will require repeat inflows.

Spot activity surged, but perpetual markets remain the main driver of directional price discovery. Binance futures produced over $357M in volume after the Bithumb listing, cementing leverage traders as the dominant market force. Sustaining this momentum through Q1 2025 is critical for upside continuation.

Momentum Indicators Remain Strong But Vulnerable

Parabolic SAR flipped bullish with clear trending support, while Bollinger Bands expanded sharply during the breakout. Volatility has not normalized, indicating traders are still positioned for aggressive directional attempts.

The risk is that a failed breakout near $0.033 to $0.035 triggers forced positioning unwinds and a fast drop back into the $0.020 zone. This market remains driven by short-term capital, not fundamentals or organic demand.

Adoption And Multi-Chain Expansion Narrative

Build on Bitcoin transitioned from an Ethereum L2 into a multi-chain model, including a launch on Internet Computer with more than 7,000 wallets. The architecture simulates Bitcoin on ICP and advertises DeFi as a way to tap idle BTC value.

More than 500K reported users validate traction, but revenue, retention, and capital efficiency remain unclear. Long term adoption will depend on whether institutions adopt hybrid node operations and whether BTC deposits convert into meaningful DeFi activity.

On-Chain Positioning And Reserves

BOB holds over $183M in BTC value and additional assets including bridged ETH and stablecoins. The reserve base gives the ecosystem credibility, but price still depends on centralized markets rather than protocol cash flows. If BTC consolidates in 2025, BOB valuation could decouple negatively.

Risks That Could Break The Trend

Failure to grow DeFi liquidity, weak follow-through from Korean markets, and a drop in Binance open interest are immediate risks. BOB is still a speculative instrument without proven capital retention. A volatility unwind could cut price targets by half if flows disappear.

BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction 2025–2030 Overview

YearLow TargetBase TargetHigh Target
2025$0.018$0.034$0.050
2026$0.030$0.045$0.075
2027$0.040$0.060$0.095
2028$0.050$0.070$0.110
2029$0.050$0.075$0.120
2030$0.060$0.085$0.150

BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction For 2026

2026 could become the first real test of sustainable capital retention. If blockchain adoption grows and BTC remains a high-value collateral asset, BOB may stabilize above $0.045 with speculative attempts toward $0.075. A weak liquidity cycle could trap price near $0.030.

BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction For 2027

2027 could benefit from maturing DeFi infrastructure and cross-chain liquidity flow. BOB could attempt a range between $0.060 and $0.095 if new BTC-backed protocols materialize. Low adoption or stagnant TVL might restrict upside.

BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction For 2028

By 2028, network utility becomes a requirement for valuation. If institutions participate in hybrid node operations and BTC reserves are deployed efficiently, price could test $0.110. If the ecosystem remains underdeveloped, upside will stall below $0.070.

BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction For 2029

A late-cycle liquidity expansion could push speculative targets into the $0.120 region. Regulatory shifts, market consolidation, or failed adoption could cap price near $0.075. Funding risk increases beyond this cycle.

BOB (Build on Bitcoin) Price Prediction For 2030

If BOB evolves into a recognized BTC-backed DeFi venue with sustainable flows, long-term targets near $0.150 are realistic. A weak execution path and declining usage could limit price to $0.085. The outcome hinges on capital efficiency and stable liquidity supply.

Bottom Line

BOB delivered its first major breakout on the back of Korean liquidity and leveraged positioning. The next phase depends on whether capital remains engaged or rotates to new listings. Multichain growth and BTC-centric DeFi architecture offer long-term potential, but the project remains early and flow driven. Investors should monitor liquidity, TVL growth, and protocol usage rather than price alone.

Crypto whale loses $6M to sneaky phishing scheme targeting staked Ethereum

The post Crypto whale loses $6M to sneaky phishing scheme targeting staked Ethereum appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. A crypto whale lost more than $6 million in staked Ethereum (stETH) and Aave-wrapped Bitcoin (aEthWBTC) after approving malicious signatures in a phishing scheme on Sept. 18, according to blockchain security firm Scam Sniffer. According to the firm, the attackers disguised their move as a routine wallet confirmation through “Permit” signatures, which tricked the victim into authorizing fund transfers without triggering obvious red flags. Yu Xian, founder of blockchain security company SlowMist, noted that the victim did not recognize the danger because the transaction required no gas fees. He wrote: “From the victim’s perspective, he just clicked a few times to confirm the wallet’s pop-up signature requests, didn’t spend a single penny of gas, and $6.28 million was gone.” How Permit exploits work Permit approvals were originally designed to simplify token transfers. Instead of submitting an on-chain approval and paying fees, a user can sign an off-chain message authorizing a spender. That efficiency, however, has created a new attack surface for malicious players. Once a user signs such a permit, attackers can combine two functions—Permit and TransferFrom—to drain assets directly. Because the authorization takes place off-chain, wallet dashboards show no unusual activity until the funds move. As a result, the assets are gone when the approval executes on-chain, and tokens are redirected to the attacker’s wallet. This loophole has made permit exploits increasingly attractive for malicious actors, who can siphon millions without needing complex hacks or high-cost gas wars. Phishing losses The latest theft highlights a wider trend of escalating phishing campaigns. Scam Sniffer reported that in August alone, attackers stole $12.17 million from more than 15,200 victims. That figure represented a 72% jump in losses compared with July. According to the firm, the most significant share of August’s damages came from three large accounts that accounted for nearly half…

Michigan moves ahead with strategic crypto reserve bill

The post Michigan moves ahead with strategic crypto reserve bill appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Michigan lawmakers are advancing a proposal that would allow the state to establish a strategic crypto reserve, as the Midwestern state joins other US jurisdictions considering digital assets for public investment.  The proposed legislation, known as House Bill 4087, moved to a second reading on Thursday and was referred to the Committee on Government Operations. It was introduced in February by Republican Representatives Bryan Posthumus and Ron Robinson, who are asking the House to amend the Michigan Management and Budget Act.  “Michigan can and should join Texas in leading on crypto policy by signing into law my bill creating the Michigan Crypto Strategic Reserve,” Posthumus wrote on X at the time of its introduction. If passed, the state treasurer’s authority will be allowed to allocate up to 10% of funds from Michigan’s countercyclical budget and economic stabilization fund into crypto. Michigan government could become crypto holders House Bill 4087 allows the state to maintain its digital assets in three possible ways: through a secure custody solution, through a qualified custodian such as a bank, trust company, or state-regulated firm, or by acquiring exchange-traded products (ETPs) from registered investment companies. Security procedures for the crypto holdings include exclusive government control over private keys, end-to-end encryption of all data, and the prohibition of access via smartphones.  Michigan-owned digital assets’ information will be stored in secure data centers in different locations within the state. At the same time, transactions would require multiparty authorization, in addition to regular independent security audits. The bill allows the state to loan out crypto to generate additional revenue, provided that such activity does not increase exposure to financial risk.  House Bill 4086, which was also introduced during the same month by Representatives Alabas Farhat, Ron Robinson, and…
