On Monday, Wen followed through on his promise to plead and was sentenced to nine days in a Singapore prison, the BBC reported. The BBC noted that under Singapore’s sentencing structure for public nuisance, Wen could have gotten up three months of jail or the U.S. equivalent of a $1,57 fine or both.

Johnson Wen Has Previously Rushed Other Celebrities

In one video, Wen jumps onstage and put his right arm around Katy Perry’s shoulders at a concert. Perry responded by rolling her eyes at Wen and managed to distance herself from him before he was grabbed by security.

According to the BBC. Wen, who represented himself in the court in Singapore on Monday, promised the judge that he would “not do it again” in reference to intrusive behavior with celebrities.
