PANews reported on March 20th that, according to CoinDesk, Dutch market maker IMC Trading has hired Alex Casimo as its Chief Commercial Officer for its crypto business. Casimo began his new role in London this week and will be responsible for expanding IMC's institutional crypto business. IMC Trading currently trades on 50 exchanges, with a daily trading volume of approximately $3 billion. Casimo previously served as co-founder and COO of crypto market maker Portofino Technologies and also worked at Citadel Securities. Traditional financial institutions are accelerating their expansion into the digital asset space due to growing customer demand, clearer regulations, and improved market infrastructure.
