“I am thrilled to welcome Jonathan to BILL as we accelerate our transformation across the company. BILL has built a truly differentiated go-to-market foundation, with nearly half a million customers, over 9,500 accounting firms, and a member network of more than 8 million – and Jonathan is the right leader to further scale and accelerate reach across our broad distribution ecosystem,” said René Lacerte, CEO and Founder of BILL. “Jonathan brings extensive experience in scaling revenue organizations to serve lower and mid-market SMBs, driving integrated platform sales, and leading high velocity GTM motions – which will position BILL to ensure more of the Fortune 5 million can access the intelligent finance technology they need to grow.”

“The companies that will define the next era of intelligent finance are the ones with deep customer trust, proprietary data at scale, and the distribution to reach the businesses that need them most. BILL has all three,” said Jonathan Leaf, incoming Chief Revenue Officer at BILL. “I am excited to lead this unified team, so every business, accounting firm, and partner that BILL serves feels the full value of this integrated platform. The Fortune 5 million deserve financial operations powered by category-leading AI. This is the right moment, and BILL is the right company to deliver it.”

A Revenue Leader with a Track Record of Scaling and Transforming High-Performing Organizations

Jonathan Leaf brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling high-performing revenue, marketing and customer experience organizations. Prior to joining BILL, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at BambooHR, leading global go-to-market strategy and operations. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at RingCentral, where he led organizations responsible for more than $2 billion in annual recurring revenue, and at Amazon Web Services where he scaled the Central U.S. Commercial business. Leaf also spent nearly two decades holding executive roles spanning sales, marketing, and operations at Softchoice.

Leaf succeeds Chief Customer Officer Sarah Acton, who served on BILL’s executive leadership team for nearly five years, and made significant contributions to BILL’s go-to-market strategy and brand. Acton will move to an advisory role to support the transition.

CME Group to launch Solana and XRP futures options in October

CME Group to launch Solana and XRP futures options in October

The post CME Group to launch Solana and XRP futures options in October appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. CME Group is preparing to launch options on SOL and XRP futures next month, giving traders new ways to manage exposure to the two assets.  The contracts are set to go live on October 13, pending regulatory approval, and will come in both standard and micro sizes with expiries offered daily, monthly and quarterly. The new listings mark a major step for CME, which first brought bitcoin futures to market in 2017 and added ether contracts in 2021. Solana and XRP futures have quickly gained traction since their debut earlier this year. CME says more than 540,000 Solana contracts (worth about $22.3 billion), and 370,000 XRP contracts (worth $16.2 billion), have already been traded. Both products hit record trading activity and open interest in August. Market makers including Cumberland and FalconX plan to support the new contracts, arguing that institutional investors want hedging tools beyond bitcoin and ether. CME’s move also highlights the growing demand for regulated ways to access a broader set of digital assets. The launch, which still needs the green light from regulators, follows the end of XRP’s years-long legal fight with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. A federal court ruling in 2023 found that institutional sales of XRP violated securities laws, but programmatic exchange sales did not. The case officially closed in August 2025 after Ripple agreed to pay a $125 million fine, removing one of the biggest uncertainties hanging over the token. This is a developing story.
