Binance Pushes LINEA Into Spotlight

Linea, developed as a zkRollup solution with full Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility, is designed to reduce transaction costs and boost throughput on Ethereum. Binance announced the token as the 37th project on its HODLer Airdrops program, making it one of the largest-scale reward events of 2025.

The airdrop covers 1% of the total supply, translating into 720,099,900 LINEA distributed directly into eligible users’ Spot Accounts. Crucially, these tokens were allocated retroactively meaning users who had subscribed BNB to certain yield products from August 25–28, 2025 automatically qualified.

Listing Timeline and Market Debut

It was announced that the deposits of LINEA were opened on September 9 at 14:00 UTC and spot trading was initiated the following day at 16:00 UTC. Binance will offer five of the largest pairs at listing LINEA/USDT, LINEA/USDC, LINEA/BNB, LINEA/FDUSD, and LINEA/TRY.

• Seed Tag Applied: Binance will have LINEA as its Seed defined, a label of more risky and early-stage projects.
