Discover why BlockDAG, Arbitrum, Stellar, and Mantle are seen as the best long-term cryptos in 2025, supported by strong market performance and growth potential.

The crypto market has shifted far from its early speculative nature, evolving into a sector where structure, measurable progress, and proven technology matter as much as price action. Today, projects compete on execution, user adoption, and consistent delivery rather than relying solely on hype-driven momentum.

This shift makes it easier to identify the best long-term cryptos in 2025, including Arbitrum, Stellar, Mantle, and BlockDAG, based on tangible performance indicators. Each of these names offers unique strengths that place them firmly among the market’s most promising choices. Let’s explore why they are positioned as the best long-term cryptos in 2025, paving the way for a deeper look at each.

1. BlockDAG (BDAG): Pre-Launch Strength Builds Market Confidence

Momentum around BlockDAG (BDAG) continues to climb as it nears its mainnet debut, making it one of the best long-term cryptos in 2025. Its approach of establishing infrastructure, a user base, and active tools before launch has already shown remarkable results.

The project has now raised $373 million in presale funding, sold over 25.1 billion BDAG coins, and progressed through 29 batches, with the latest priced at $0.00276. Early buyers from batch 1 have already seen a remarkable 2,660% growth in their holdings. Combining Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) scalability with Proof-of-Work (PoW) security, BlockDAG offers a hybrid Layer-1 solution that balances speed, decentralisation, and security, tackling common blockchain limitations without compromising network stability.

Its ecosystem is already proving active. The X1 mobile mining app has drawn over 2.5 million participants, and over 19,000 ASIC miners have been distributed worldwide. This dual mining structure supports both casual and dedicated contributors, ensuring a diverse hashrate while minimising the risk of centralisation.

Adding to its appeal, the live Demo Trading Dashboard allows users to explore trading features, view real-time prices, and test strategies before the official launch. While many early-stage crypto projects only begin building utility post-launch, BlockDAG enters with an established community, operational mining power, and functional tools, a rare advantage in the sector.

2. Arbitrum (ARB): Ethereum Layer-2 Scaling Powerhouse

Trading at $0.40, Arbitrum holds its place as Ethereum’s top Layer-2 scaling network, integrating DeFi, NFTs, and multiple on-chain applications. Its consistent growth in Total Value Locked (TVL) and robust network activity suggests significant long-term potential. Analysts forecast a price climb to the $2.00–$3.00 range in the next bull cycle, offering 5x–7x returns.

For instance, a $50 allocation could grow to $300–$350. This steady growth outlook positions Arbitrum as a solid mid-cap choice within the best long-term cryptos in 2025, appealing to those seeking reliable returns without extreme volatility.

3. Stellar (XLM): A Leader in Cross-Border Payment Solutions

At $0.41 with a market cap of $12.97 billion, Stellar focuses on fast, cost-efficient cross-border payments, remittances, and tokenised asset transfers. With years of proven adoption, XLM remains far below its $0.94 all-time high. Should it recover to the $1.50–$2.00 range, this would represent a 4x–5x increase, potentially turning $50 into $200–$250.

Its strong real-world utility and established network keep Stellar firmly among the best long-term cryptos in 2025 for those who value stability alongside growth potential.

4. Mantle (MNT): Modular Ethereum Rollup with High Growth Potential

Backed by BitDAO, Mantle runs as a modular Ethereum rollup, optimised for DeFi and high-performance infrastructure projects. Valued at $2.9 billion and trading at $0.87, Mantle provides scalability and cost efficiency, attracting developers and projects seeking performance and flexibility.

Projections suggest it could climb to $4–$8, generating possible 5x–10x returns. A $50 position might grow to $250–$500, placing it as a strong growth-oriented pick in the best long-term cryptos in 2025 list, especially for those targeting sustained expansion.

Final Say

Market cycles often determine which projects stand the test of time, and in the current phase, these four are clear leaders. BlockDAG’s presale milestones, active ecosystem, and significant ROI for early participants give it a standout edge among the best long-term cryptos in 2025. Arbitrum benefits from Ethereum’s expanding Layer-2 demand, Stellar continues delivering cross-border payment efficiency, and Mantle offers scalable solutions for the next generation of DeFi infrastructure.

Together, they represent a market segment where consistent delivery outweighs speculation, offering calculated opportunities for those watching future performance with a long-term mindset.

Bitcoin Steady as Fed Cuts Interest Rates for First Time Since December

The post Bitcoin Steady as Fed Cuts Interest Rates for First Time Since December appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In brief The Federal Reserve had kept interest rates unchanged since last December. U.S. President Donald Trump has been hammering the Fed to cut rates. Crypto and other assets typically benefit from rate cuts that increase financial liquidity. The U.S. central bank, as widely expected, cut the federal funds rate by 0.25% Wednesday, amid recent signs that the economy was faltering and needed a boost—and under relentless pressure from President Donald Trump. Bitcoin and other major digital assets traded largely flat  in the immediate aftermath. The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization was recently changing hands just above $116,000, up 0.2% over the past hour hours, according to crypto markets data provider CoinGecko. BTC rallied in recent days with investors possibly pricing in the anticipated decision. Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market value, was trading at $4,501, flat over the same period. The Fed slashed the interest rate to a range between 4% and 4.25% after a downward revision in a Department of Labor report showing that the U.S had created 911,000 fewer jobs than initially reported for a year-long period ending in March, and other concerning economic signs. “Uncertainty about the economic outlook remains elevated,” the Fed noted in a statement. Those concerns outweighed the threat of inflation, which has risen to 2.9% on an annual basis, stubbornly above the bank’s longstanding 2% goal. Newly sworn-in governor Stephen Miran, a White House appointee, dissented from the decision, voting for a .50% rate cut. The Fed has a dual mission to keep inflation low and ensure full employment. In Telegram message to Decrypt, Noelle Acheson, the author of the Crypto Is Macro Now newsletter, wrote that the big deal wasn’t the expected rate cut but updated economic forecasts from Fed officials, showing that central bankers are “getting more nervous about the…
