PANews reported on March 26 that, according to CCTV News, the European Parliament voted on the EU-US trade agreement, which was ultimately approved. The European Parliament's International Trade Committee, with 29 votes in favor, resumed the legislative approval process for the EU-US trade agreement on March 19. The EU and the US are expected to reach a trade agreement in July 2025. The EU is required to eliminate tariffs on US-made industrial goods and provide preferential market access for US seafood and agricultural products in exchange for the US imposing a 15% tariff on most EU imports.
