Google Cited an Altcoin as an Example Against Quantum Risk! Huge Rise Occurred!

Google made headlines earlier this week with its report on quantum risk.

At this point, a Google report warning Bitcoin and Ethereum investors about quantum risks highlighted an altcoin.

At this point, Google, in its report, identified the altcoin Algorand (ALGO) as one of the early adopters of quantum-resistant protocols.

This caused ALGO’s price to rise by 44% in 7 days, outperforming the overall cryptocurrency market.

In a recent research report on quantum computing, Google cited Algorand as an example of a project with quantum resilience.

Following this announcement, ALGO surged, with its price increasing by approximately 15% in the last 24 hours to reach $0.12.

Speaking to Decrypt, Bitrue research leader Andri Fauzan Adziima stated that the recent surge in Algorand is closely linked to Google’s paper on quantum AI. Adziima said that markets read the Google report as strong confirmation of Algorand’s quantum security advantage.

Aside from Algorand, other AI and computation-related cryptocurrencies like Render also saw gains. These increases came at a time when the broader cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, experienced a significant downturn due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East and macroeconomic uncertainty.
