Anthropic has seen one of the fastest revenue climbs in tech history, according to Brad Gerstner, founder of Altimeter Capital. Speaking on a podcast on Saturday, he said the company’s annual revenue run rate could reach between $80 billion and $100 billion by the end of 2026.
That would be roughly triple where Anthropic stands today. Its ARR has already passed $30 billion, up from around $9 billion at the end of 2025. Earlier in 2026, that figure was around $15 billion.

Anthropic had originally targeted an ARR of $20 billion to $26 billion for the full year. It has already blown past that range.
Gerstner said the company has “rebounded” over the past 90 days after being largely overlooked in 2025. He now says it is outpacing OpenAI, whose ARR is estimated between $24 billion and $25 billion.
More than 1,000 business customers are now spending over $1 million per year with Anthropic. The company’s Claude models are being used widely in coding, automation, and API-based services.
Anthropic also launched Claude CoWork in January 2026 and unveiled a new AI model called Mythos last week. These releases have helped keep the company in focus across the industry.
To support its growth, Anthropic is working with Google and Broadcom to build 3.5 gigawatts of compute capacity. Gerstner noted that scaling toward $100 billion in ARR would require major infrastructure investment.
New data from BNP Paribas shows Claude’s share of chatbot website visits nearly doubled from 3.6% in February to 6.6% in March. Its average monthly daily active users rose from 0.8% to 1.8% over the same period.
Google’s Gemini also grew, with website visit share rising from 26.2% to 28% in March.
ChatGPT remains the top chatbot overall but lost both web traffic and mobile app share in March, according to BNP analysts led by Nick Jones.
Amazon also appeared in the BNP report. Uber recently expanded its use of Amazon’s Gravitron4 and Trainium3 processors. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said AWS AI-related ARR has hit $15 billion, with chip ARR reaching $20 billion.
Meta’s new Muse Spark AI model drove a surge in downloads for the Meta AI app. BNP analysts said the release shows Meta is making progress on its AI efforts.
Anthropic is among several private companies potentially targeting an IPO in 2026, with an estimated valuation of around $300 billion.
