The InnoEX and Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) opened today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together global technology experts with artificial intelligence and robotics as central themes. Jointly organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the four-day events feature over 2,800 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions under the theme ‘Innovate . Automate . Elevate.’

A major highlight is the newly launched ‘RoboPark,’ which spans both fairs and features four of the world’s top five best-selling humanoid robot manufacturers, including AgiBot, Unitree, UBTECH and EngineAI. Unitree will present the first launch outside the Chinese Mainland for its next-generation quadruped robot dog, Unitree A2, at innoex.hktdc.com/en. Hong Kong-based RiceRobotics presents autonomous robots for building operations that are widely adopted by Japanese enterprises like SoftBank and 7-Eleven Japan.

This year’s InnoEX features over 550 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, with first-time participation from eight nations including Austria, Germany, Israel and the United States. The exhibition focuses on five key areas: AI+, Robotics, Low-altitude Economy, PropTech and RetailTech. In AI+, the Digital Policy Office presents the ‘Smart Hong Kong Pavilion’ featuring innovative solutions from over 20 government departments. First-time exhibitor Tencent Cloud showcases AI solutions including SuperApp and PalmAI.

The Policy Address sets out the vision of developing a competitive low-altitude economy ecosystem, with China Mobile Hong Kong presenting a drone traffic management system at hkelectronicsfairse.hktdc.com/en. InnoEX will co-organize the LAE Development Conference on 15 April with the Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy, featuring speakers including Bakhtiyar Mukhametkaliyev, Vice Minister of the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.

The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) presents innovative technologies across three major areas: Smart Home & Solutions, Health Tech & Gadgets, and Pet Intelligence. Some 60 products will be launched for the first time, including the ‘BG120 Smart Sports Glasses’ by Infinite Import & Export and the ‘Great Wall Dragon Armor’ Mini PC series by Hunan Greatwall Computer System Co., Ltd. The fair continues to promote ‘Smart Ageing Products’ with Zhongyuan Innovation (HK) Limited presenting an AI Smart Elderly Care Kit that monitors health metrics and detects abnormalities.

More than 100 events will be held over four days across both fairs, including a thematic seminar hosted by the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises titled ‘Driving Innovation and Industry Development through China’s Next Five-Year Roadmap.’ The seminar will feature enterprises including JD Group, Ant Group and Pfizer sharing experiences of using Hong Kong as a strategic platform. A new ‘Go Global Consultation Zone’ will provide on-site advisory services from organizations including the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation and Invest Hong Kong.

The events are part of the Business of Innovation and Technology Week (BIT Week), which also includes the 3rd Hong Kong World Youth Science Conference, the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026, and the International Academicians Hong Kong Forum. During the exhibition period, the World Internet Conference Asia Pacific Summit will take place concurrently, focusing on innovation and technology in the Asia Pacific region and further strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a regional digital hub.
