The three musicians that headlined both weekends of Coachella — Justin Bieber, Karol G, and Sabrina Carpenter — all attracted enormous crowds and earned sizable paydays for their involvement in the music festival. They can also expect several weeks of success on charts globally, as the high-profile slot, one of the most coveted in the music industry, all but guarantees that millions of people return to both songs and albums in droves, turning them into bestsellers and top streamers once more.
In the United Kingdom, the current charts reflect upticks in interest following the first weekend of Coachella, and next week’s rankings will take into account all the excitement generated by the media coverage, chatter on social platforms, and the widely-viewed livestream of many of the must-see performances over both weekends.
Several of Carpenter’s singles become bestsellers once more, and when it comes to her albums, she stands out as perhaps the most successful act on streaming sites in the United Kingdom.
Man’s Best Friend and Short n’ Sweet Return to the Top 10
Carpenter fills two spaces inside the top 10 on the Official Albums Streaming chart. It’s rare for any act to claim multiple top 10s on the list, and such a sight is less common than on sales tallies. Man’s Best Friend, her most recent full-length, rises to No. 6, while Short n’ Sweet, her breakout effort, rounds out the tier by ascending to No. 10.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Albums Surge Following Coachella
Carpenter’s showing inside the top 10 is impressive because it speaks to her popularity following Coachella, but there’s another reason why her performance is noteworthy. Neither Man’s Best Friend nor Short n’ Sweet cracked the uppermost register last time around. Man’s Best Friend improves from No. 13, while Short n’ Sweet pushes from No. 16. The titles were close to the most competitive space before the music festival began, but once the Grammy winner’s massive stage show spread online, consumption of her most recent albums appears to have grown considerably.
Sabrina Carpenter’s History on the Streaming Chart
Throughout her career, Carpenter has landed four appearances on the Official Albums Streaming chart. Short n’ Sweet and Man’s Best Friend mark her only No. 1s, and both have led the charge multiple times. Man’s Best Friend collected four stints at the summit, while Short n’ Sweet lived as high as a title can climb for just over half a year.

Two other releases – her seasonal Fruitcake EP and an early-career set, Emails I Can’t Send – narrowly broke into the top 40 and peaked at Nos. 36 and 37, respectively.
Sabrina Carpenter Claims Multiple Charting Albums
Carpenter’s only two charting albums at the moment both take up space on several rankings. Short n’ Sweet appears on five, and amazingly, it lands inside the top 40 on each and every one of them. Short n’ Sweet lifts on three of those rankings it inhabits and holds on one more.
Man’s Best Friend occupies a spot on half a dozen lists, and while it is largely on the decline, the Grammy-nominated project does settle into loftier spaces when compared to its predecessor. In addition to the Official Albums Streaming chart, Man’s Best Friend keeps inside the top 10 on the Official Albums list, which details the most-consumed releases in the U.K. – but only barely – as it drops one spot to No. 10.
At the same time, it also backtracks from the highest tier to No. 24 on the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Vinyl Albums tallies, all at the same time. Man’s Best Friend even manages to reappear on the Official Album Downloads chart. The former No. 2-peaking bestseller is back at No. 95.
