Leavitt blamed Democrats and media members for the incident involving alleged shooter Cole Allen.

Social media users challenged her characterization, with author Sherry Knowlton writing on X, Trump appeared unaware of events until Secret Service removed him from his chair.

Progressive commentator Vince Wilson reported on X, Trump "stumbled and struggled" while standing.

Also on X, College instructor Anthony Hopper questioned Trump's military record in response to "fearless" claims.

Attorney Tracey Gallagher noted Trump was not calm when questioned about Epstein.

English teacher George Werner questioned whether Leavitt understood the propaganda nature of her statements.

Other critics highlighted the disconnect between Leavitt's portrayal and video evidence of Trump's actual response during the incident.
