The Philippines ranked 46th out of 191 countries in the 2026 edition of the INFORM Risk Index by the European Commission’s Disaster Risk Management Knowledge Center. With a risk score of 5.3 out of 10, the country is now under “medium” risk class. The index identifies countries at a high risk of humanitarian crisis across the dimensions of hazards and exposure, vulnerability, and lack of coping capacity.
