GE Appliances Air & Water Solutions is expanding its HVAC portfolio with new entry-level options for three trusted product lines, aiming to help contractors compete across a wider range of price points without sacrificing reliability. The additions include the GE Connect Series Side-Discharge, GE Top-Discharge, and Haier SD Series Side-Discharge systems, which are designed to meet standard residential efficiency requirements while offering more flexibility for budget-conscious homeowners.

According to the company, affordability remains a major concern for homeowners, and contractors often lose jobs on price or walk away from opportunities. The new entry-level systems are intended to bridge that gap, giving contractors more options when quoting and selling jobs. Khalid Qirem, Vice President of Air & Water Solutions, said: “This launch is about making it easier to do business with us and offering our partners a full range of solutions to win in any job. And we’re just getting started.”

Each system is engineered for specific installation scenarios. The GE Connect Series Side-Discharge (15 SEER2 Heat Pump) is ideal for zero lot line and tight-access installs, with a compact footprint suited for high-density residential settings. The GE Top-Discharge (14 SEER2 Air Conditioner) targets straightforward replacements with familiar components and 45-degree service valves that speed up installation. The Haier SD Series Side-Discharge (15 SEER2 Heat Pump) is designed for compact, value-driven applications where space is limited, offering a slim profile for tighter residential environments.

Together with the existing portfolio, these systems allow contractors and distributors to build a good/better/best offering, making it easier to guide homeowners toward solutions that fit both their needs and budget. All three systems are backed by GE Appliances Air & Water Solutions’ national distribution network, service support, and warranty infrastructure.
