Featured, an AI co-pilot for PR, has revived Connectively, relaunching the brand as a journalist request platform where PR professionals and subject-matter experts find, monitor, and respond to media opportunities. The move comes a year after the company took Help a Reporter Out (HARO) from “discontinued” to a leading journalist request platform in the industry. Connectively is the second PR brand Featured has brought back from the brink.

Connectively is a journalist request platform that lets sources discover and respond to reporters’ requests for expert commentary in real time. PR professionals, communications teams, agencies, founders, and independent experts use it to get featured in the media — earning quotes, interviews, and bylines by responding to the right opportunity at the right moment, rather than waiting on an inbox.

The relaunch is also a migration. Featured is moving its current experience — every media opportunity, profile, subscription, workflow, and piece of customer data — over to Connectively at connectively.us. The only things changing are the name, the logo, and the web address; everything underneath stays exactly as customers know it. That experience is substantial: over the past four and a half years, the PR platform has grown into a system that connects a subject-matter expert with a publisher roughly every six seconds, supports 100,000 users, and helps 2,500 publishers fill content gaps with expert-led articles.

From “HARO in a platform” to a brand worth reviving

Connectively was originally brought to market as “HARO in a platform” — the searchable, on-demand version of the HARO experience. Featured acquired both brands a year ago, then rebuilt HARO into the category leader. The company sees the same kind of latent equity in Connectively: a name the PR world already recognizes, attached to a genuinely useful product, that simply needed an owner willing to commit to it.

“We’ve spent the last four and a half years building a platform that connects subject matter experts with publishers, and that experience deserves to be preserved as Featured evolves into the AI co-pilot for PR,” said Brett Farmiloe, founder and CEO of Featured. “Connectively is the right home for it — a brand we already own, with real equity left to activate, and a clear path forward of its own.”

What PR professionals and expert sources can do on Connectively

Connectively is built around speed and relevance. Its core capabilities include:

Respond to journalist requests in real time. This is the platform’s central advantage over an email-only service. On a digest-based model, a request approved just after a send can sit unseen for hours before sources ever lay eyes on it. On Connectively, an approved request goes live the moment it’s published, so sources can respond while a journalist is still actively reporting. In earned media, that head start is frequently the difference between being quoted and being too late.

Monitor, search, and filter opportunities. Instead of scanning every notification, sources can search and filter requests to surface only the ones that fit their expertise, then respond first.

Request expert-led content for an owned blog. Publishers and brands can commission ready-to-publish, expert-driven content for their own properties.

Submit bylined articles for publication consideration. Experts can pitch their own authored pieces to publishers looking for credible voices.

Find podcasts and journalists. Beyond written requests, sources can discover podcast booking opportunities and identify the reporters who cover their space.

Track requests across Substack, X, and LinkedIn. Connectively surfaces journalist requests wherever reporters are sourcing  so opportunities aren’t missed because they happened on a different platform.

Together, those capabilities position Connectively as a working tool for anyone whose job depends on earned media: in-house communications teams, PR and digital-PR agencies, founders building a public profile, and subject-matter experts who want to be the voice journalists call on.

Why now

Moving the existing experience to Connectively clears the way for Featured to relaunch as an AI co-pilot for PR. On Featured, professionals can find and act on media opportunities across journalist requests, podcasts, bylined articles, speaking engagements, awards, generative engine optimization (GEO), and more. Connectively will operate as a standalone product alongside HARO, giving Featured a three-brand foundation: two proven sourcing platforms that PR teams rely on today, and the AI-driven product the company is building for what comes next.

Nothing is lost in the transition for existing customers. Subscriptions, profiles, and submission history all carry over automatically.

Connectively is live now at Connectively.us.
