Analyst floored by video of Trump swaying at Memorial Day event: 'Disturbing'

President Donald Trump appeared to have trouble keeping his balance while standing for a military salute, according to a video analysis.

Progressive political commentator David Pakman flagged the way Trump was swaying back and forth during a ceremony earlier this week. Trump's movement was "disturbing," Pakman said on his show.

"Trump was swaying and seemingly constantly losing his balance and adjusting," Pakman explained. Pakman played the video without audio to highlight how much Trump was rocking to and fro. He also pointed out that JD Vance and a couple of Cabinet secretaries, who were standing next to Trump, were perfectly still.

The video shows Trump at a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, and the next day, Trump visited the hospital, raising more concern about his health.

Pakman also brought up a video showing Trump struggling to walk in a straight line down a red carpet and said Trump has also been seen having trouble walking away from a helicopter.

"We now have multiple instances of Trump having more limited control over his body," Pakman said. "Sometimes this happens to older people, and there are a number of reasons why that could be."

Pakman suggested that Trump could have "musculoskeletal issues, back pain, hip problems, knee instability, arthritis," or he could be "overweight, sleeping two to three hours a night, and not physically fit. It's hard to just stand there with a hand up on your head saluting. It could be an inner ear or a balance issue."

He also mentioned a slew of medications like "sedatives to blood pressure meds, alcohol, THC, uppers, downers, anxiety medication, stimulants" as possible causes for Trump's imbalance.
