PETALING JAYA: ShekhinahPR menyambut ulang tahun ke-15 penubuhannya dengan tajaan bernilai RM15,000 bagi acara beregu campuran jemputan Junior ShekhinahPR, pertandingan peringkat junior yang diadakan bersempena Kejohanan Tenis CIMB terbuka KL 2026.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif ShekhinahPR, Christopher Raj berkata tajaan itu komitmen jangka panjang agensi berkenaan untuk terus menyumbang kepada pembangunan sukan negara.

“Ulang tahun ke-15 ini adalah pencapaian penting buat ShekhinahPR, namun lebih utama ia memberi ruang untuk kami menilai semula peranan yang telah kami mainkan dalam menyokong perkembangan sukan di Malaysia.

“Kami percaya pelaburan terhadap atlet muda adalah pelaburan untuk masa depan negara. Platform seperti ini amat penting bagi memberi mereka pendedahan pertandingan, membina keyakinan diri dan memupuk mentaliti yang diperlukan untuk berjaya di peringkat tertinggi.

“Di ShekhinahPR, kami berbangga kerana dapat memainkan peranan dalam perjalanan itu,” katanya dalam kenyataan.

ShekhinahPR berkata tajaan itu mencerminkan komitmen berterusannya dalam menyokong pembangunan sukan akar umbi, selain membuka lebih banyak peluang kepada atlet muda untuk bertanding dan berkembang melalui platform sukan yang terancang.

Sejak ditubuhkan pada 2011, agensi perhubungan awam dan penjenamaan sukan itu telah menyokong program pembangunan badminton junior Rawang BC, menjalin kerjasama dengan SK Lemoi di Cameron Highlands bagi menggalakkan penyertaan pelajar Orang Asli dalam sukan, serta menaja peralatan sukan kepada 40 sekolah di seluruh Pulau Pinang.

Kejohanan Tenis CIMB Terbuka KL 2026, yang akan berlangsung dari 28 Julai hingga 2 Ogos di Pusat Tenis Negara, Kuala Lumpur, dijangka menampilkan pemain utama tempatan dan serantau.
