Former health minister Dr Adham Baba will contest in Pasir Raja, while Alwiyah Talib will defend her Endau seat.
PETALING JAYA: Former health minister Dr Adham Baba and an Umno returnee are among the Barisan Nasional candidates for the coming Johor state election.
Adham will contest in Pasir Raja, while Alwiyah Talib, who left Bersatu earlier this month, will defend her Endau seat.
Adham served as the health minister from 2020 to 2021 before swapping ministries with then science, technology and innovation minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
Alwiyah joined Bersatu in 2018 and retained her seat in the 2022 polls.
Johor BN chairman Onn Hafiz Ghazi will defend his Machap seat.
The Election Commission has set July 11 for the state election.
Johor BN previously said it would contest all 56 seats up for grabs.
