PH communications director Fahmi Fadzil criticised the spread of false information during the election campaign period, calling it an act of sabotage that undermines the democratic process.
MUAR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) has urged outstation Johoreans, especially those residing in Singapore, to return to their home state to vote during the state election on July 11.
PH communications director Fahmi Fadzil also urged Johoreans currently in the state to encourage their family members to return to vote, saying their ballots will determine the state’s future.
“This state election is very important because we want a good state government capable of cooperating with the prime minister,” he said at a ceramah in Bakri here last night.
When met by reporters after, Fahmi said he had come across netizens, especially youths, complaining that the July 11 polling day made it hard for them to return to Johor to vote.
The PKR information chief urged them not to use this as an excuse to avoid carrying out their civic duty as voters.

He said there had also been several incidents of vandalism in the past week, with party flags set on fire and billboards damaged.
