Negeri Sembilan PH chairman Aminuddin Harun said the coalition will unveil its candidates for the Aug 1 state election on Tuesday.
PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan is expected to announce its candidates for the Negeri Sembilan election on Tuesday, says its state chairman Aminuddin Harun.
He said the announcement is expected to be made by PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim at an event in Kuala Pilah, Sinar Harian reported.
However, the menteri besar remained tight-lipped on which seat he would contest on Aug 1. Aminuddin is a four-term assemblyman for Sikamat.
“I have no comment for now. I don’t know either. Let’s wait until July 14,” he was quoted as saying after presenting special grants to neighbourhood watch committees in Seremban today.
PH will contest all 36 seats in the election, with PKR fielding candidates in 16 seats, DAP in 11 and Amanah in nine.
Its federal ally, Barisan Nasional, will also contest all 36 seats.
Polling is set for Aug 1, with nominations on July 18 and early voting set for July 28.
