the revolution of payments in entertainment arrives

Rhuna, the platform that is redefining the way payments, access, and rewards are managed in the entertainment world, has announced the closing of a $2 million seed funding round. The operation was led by Aptos Labs and saw the participation of prominent investors such as Acc Ventures, X Ventures, NewTribe Capital, Keyrock, CoinMarketCap Labs, FunFair, Lémanique and others.

This investment represents a crucial step to accelerate the development and adoption of the platform on an international level.

An infrastructure designed for the real world

Unlike many digital solutions, Rhuna is designed to be used in physical locations where people meet and have experiences: events, venues, water parks, theme parks, and with partners in the mobility sector.

The platform offers traders a single programmable layer to manage wallet-native payments, POS, ticketing and access control, loyalty, and digital identity, all with real-time settlement via stablecoin. The goal is to ensure a user experience as smooth as in Web2, but with the security and transparency typical of Web3.

The universal pass for entertainment

Essentially, Rhuna presents itself as a true universal pass for entertainment, powered by stablecoin payments and on-chain identity management. Thanks to this infrastructure, every phase of the experience – from entry to the venue, to purchases during the event, to returning home – becomes verifiable, programmable, and portable. Operators can thus optimize activity management, while participants gain unprecedented control over their own experience.

Sveatoslav V., co-founder and CEO of Rhuna, emphasizes:

Record Numbers: Over 2 Million Users and 90 Million Dollars Processed

The results obtained so far confirm the potential of Rhuna: the platform has already supported over 2 million users through pilot projects and has managed more than 90 million dollars in transactions

According to Bogdan R., co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer:

Successes in Major International Events and Festivals

The Rhuna infrastructure has been adopted in over 165 major events and festivals, including UNTOLD – considered one of the top three music festivals in the world – Neversea, Kapital, and many others.

Only at UNTOLD, more than 450,000 participants used the payment and access systems powered by Rhuna. The platform also demonstrated its international scalability by supporting the first mega-festival in Dubai and consolidating its presence in various global entertainment ecosystems.

A bridge between digital innovation and real experiences

Avery Ching, co-founder and CEO of Aptos Labs, stated:

New Features and Apps for Consumers

The new funding will allow Rhuna to further strengthen its payment and settlement infrastructure, expand tools for organizers (including POS, ticketing, and partnerships in the mobility sector), and accelerate the launch of the consumer app. The latter will integrate discovery, access, and wallet-native payments into a seamless experience.

Global Expansion: Asia, Europe, and North America in Focus

The next goal of Rhuna is large-scale expansion with entertainment and mobility operators in Asia, Europe, and North America. The platform will be implemented in venues, water parks, theme parks, major events, and transportation, with numerous high-profile partnerships already scheduled by the end of the year.

Rhuna: the new infrastructure for digital entertainment

In summary, Rhuna is establishing itself as the new on-chain infrastructure for payments, access, identity, and rewards in the entertainment industry. Event organizers and venue managers can use the platform to issue tickets, verify access, manage loyalty programs, and accept wallet-native payments, thus offering an unprecedented experience for both operators and participants.

With the support of leading investors and technology already tested on a global scale, Rhuna is ready to redefine the way value and trust move in the entertainment world, bringing on-chain payments and identity to the forefront of real experiences.

‘Groundbreaking’: Barry Silbert Reacts to Approval of ETF with XRP Exposure

The post ‘Groundbreaking’: Barry Silbert Reacts to Approval of ETF with XRP Exposure appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. A “combo” ETF  Crypto ETF trailblazer  Digital Currency Group founder Barry Silbert has reacted to the approval of the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund  (GDLC), the very first multi-crypto exchange-traded fund (ETF), describing it as “groundbreaking.”  “Grayscale continues to be the first mover, driving new product innovations that bridge tradfi and digital assets,” Silbert said while commenting on the news.  Peter Mintzberg, chief executive officer at Graysacle, claims that the team behind the world’s leading cryptocurrency asset manager is working “expeditiously” in order to bring the product to the market.  A “combo” ETF  The ETF in question offers exposure to Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), as well as several other major altcoins, including the Ripple-linked XRP token, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA). XRP, for instance, has a 5.2% share of the fund, making it the third-largest constituent.  The fund initially debuted as a private placement for accredited investors back in early 2018, and its shares later became available on over-the-counter (OTC) markets.  In early July, the SEC approved the conversion of GDLC into an ETF, but it was then abruptly halted for a “review” shortly after this.  As of Sept. 17, the fund currently has a total of $915.6 million in assets.  Crypto ETF trailblazer  It is worth noting that Grayscale is usually credited with kickstarting the cryptocurrency ETF craze by winning its court case against the SEC.  The SEC ended up approving Bitcoin ETFs in early 2024 and then followed up with Ethereum ETFs.  Grayscale’s flagship GBTC currently boasts more than $20.5 billion in net assets, according to data provided by SoSoValue.  Source: https://u.today/groundbreaking-barry-silbert-reacts-to-approval-of-etf-with-xrp-exposure
