Golf is headed back to Austin, Texas, in 2026 at the Omni Barton Creek Fazio Canyons Course after a three-year hiatus, with the tournament added to the PGA Tour’s Fall schedule, November 9-15.
“Of the courses on property here at Barton Creek, the Fazio Canyons course is a true test. It challenges every part of your game while providing beautiful views of Hill Country scenery,” first assistant and tournament director at Barton Creek Lakeside Robert Gogulich said.
The course has previously hosted the PGA Teaching Professional Championships, but the biggest story this time is the event’s sponsor: Good Good Golf.
The foremost YouTube golf channel, Good Good Golf began as a platform for founder Garrett Clark to showcase his golf trick shots and gradually evolved into a company chronicling the group’s matches, travels, and lifestyle, while selling apparel and golf clubs. The channel now boasts 1.97 million subscribers on YouTube.
“The goal for Good Good at the end of the day is we want to be a top-five brand in golf,” said Matt Kendrick, CEO of Good Good, in an interview with Fox Business. “Part of that strategy is that we’ve done it untraditionally through YouTube and the content that we’ve been doing. But we’ve now reached a point where we want to move into the more traditional golf space, and sponsoring athletes on the PGA Tour is a step in that direction. We’re excited to be in a position to do that and get our product on the highest level of players on the PGA Tour.”

In addition to hosting a PGA Tour event, Good Good entered into apparel partnerships earlier this year with Joel Dahmen, Beau Hossler, John Pak, and Willie Mack III.
The company is well on its way to becoming one of golf’s most recognizable brands, bolstered by an unexpected $45 million investment from Creator Sports.
Creator-driven golf has seen a monumental rise in popularity over the past few years, with the PGA Tour now including “Creator Classic” events alongside its most popular tournaments, giving YouTube golf stars a chance to showcase their skills on some of the Tour’s most challenging courses.
Texas is no stranger to the golf scene. The state already hosts four PGA Tour tournaments in San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, and Fort Worth. With the addition of the Good Good Championship at Barton Creek and the LIV Golf event at Maridoe Golf Club, Texas will now host more professional golf tournaments than any other U.S. state.
