Today, October 21, 2025, the crypto market fell, bringing total capitalization down to $3.82 trillion. Bitcoin and Ethereum both dipped after setting new highs earlier in October. BTC trades around $113,000, about 14% below its early October record near $126,000. ETH is close to $4,100, roughly 19% under its late August peak near $4,950. Solana sits near $196 and XRP around $2.53, both lower after last week’s swing.

ETF flows turned negative last week. U.S. spot Bitcoin funds saw about $1.23 billion in net outflows, and U.S. spot Ethereum funds posted around $312 million in net outflows. Even so, analysts see careful optimism from institutional investors, even while the market consolidates.

Who Led And Lagged? Is It Time To Rotate?

Across the top 100 coins, most finished lower this week. Solana (SOL) trades near $196, XRP is around $2.53, and Tron (TRX) is almost flat at $0.32.

As some traders cut positions in large tokens, others sees the dip as an opportunity to rotate, moving from high volatility plays into assets with staking rewards and longer term yield potential.

How Smart Investors Turn The Market Reset Into Opportunity

During the pullback, Pepeto (PEPETO) stood out among new names with a high potential. The meme powered token, called the God of Frogs, keeps drawing investors who see value in both humor and fundamentals.

As ETH and USDT fell, the Pepeto community took the opportunity, buying tokens cheaper in the presale and locking them into the staking system, which now pays over 220% APY. That approach turned a market drop into a profitable moment for early smart holders.

With more than $7 million raised, Pepeto ranks among the season’s most discussed presales, showing rising trust in its blend of utility, culture, and staking led growth.

A $7M Presale Shows Trust In Utility And Culture; Can It Outshine Meme Coins Built On Hype?

Pepeto (PEPETO) mixes viral meme reach with practical value, staking at 220% APY, a zero fee exchange, and a presale already above $7 million.

It shares Pepe’s 420 trillion supply, and rumors link a former Pepe insider to the project, so Pepeto mirrors that history while taking it further by adding T and O, Technology and Optimization, seen in its high tech Pepeto Swap and cross chain bridge.

Could Pepeto Track Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and Pepe’s Path?

Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe turned community hype into life changing gains. Pepeto could follow a similar path, especially when Pepeto Exchange goes live, where staking, swaps, and fees will use PEPETO tokens, locking supply and lifting demand.

The table below maps Pepeto’s estimated targets and upside from its current presale price of $0.000000160 and the 2026 scenarios.

Scenario Target Price (USD) Approx. Gain from $0.000000160 Estimated Market Cap Milestone
Current Presale $0.000000160 $66M (est.) Presale Stage
x100 Target $0.0000160 100× ~$6.6B Potential 2026 Goal
Matches PEPE Price ( Subject to change ) $0.000007266 ≈46× ~$3B PEPE Level

If Pepeto reaches PEPE’s current price, early buyers could see about a 46× return. Hitting the 100× target would put Pepeto near a $6.6 billion market cap by 2026.

The Gift Before Tier 1 Listing: Pepeto’s $700,000 Giveaway

After the new milestone, crossing $7 million in presale funds, Pepeto launched a $700,000 giveaway for its early investors.

Participants can join via Pepeto.io by completing simple community steps, like following Pepeto on X, joining Telegram, and verifying a $100 presale buy.

Rewards include up to $300,000 in PEPETO for the top winner, plus several community prizes of $25,000 each.

How To Buy Pepeto? Easy Steps

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
