Located in the heart of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau Greater Bay Area, the 65-acre facility integrates automation, digital intelligence, and sustainable infrastructure to handle the surging demand in cross-border and domestic parcel deliveries. Designed to process up to 15 million parcels daily, it is one of the most powerful logistics hubs in China and a strategic asset for managing peak seasons like the Double 11 shopping festival.

Cutting-Edge Automation at Scale

At the core of J&T’s new hub lies a network of automated sorting systems capable of covering nearly 90% of all operations. The facility includes a 50,000-square-meter warehouse equipped with real-time tracking, automated conveyor lines, and AI-driven scheduling systems.

This high level of automation allows J&T to minimize human error, shorten parcel processing times, and enhance the precision of cross-border fulfillment. China’s parcel market remains the world’s largest, processing an estimated 150 billion parcels in 2024, averaging 410 million shipments daily, according to government data. During peak shopping seasons like Double 11, that figure can soar to nearly 730 million parcels in a single day.

For J&T Express, which managed 19.8 billion parcels in China last year, translating to an 11.3% market share, the new hub adds essential capacity. The 15 million daily throughput represents roughly 3–4% of China’s total daily parcel volume, giving J&T a critical buffer to handle seasonal surges while maintaining delivery speed and reliability.
