The IOTA Foundation has announced a significant upgrade to its Ambassador Program, now integrated with the GiveRep platform. This enhancement introduces automated rewards, transparent points, and streamlined onboarding, aiming to attract a wider audience of creators, developers, and community members. According to the IOTA Blog, the program’s first campaign will focus on how IOTA and its partner TWIN are revolutionizing global trade through blockchain technology.
Program Enhancements
The upgraded IOTA Ambassador Program moves from Discord to GiveRep, allowing for a more data-driven approach to rewarding community engagement. Participants can now earn $IOTA by promoting IOTA across various social platforms. The new system includes automated tracking, transparent points, and real-time dashboards, simplifying the process for ambassadors to build their presence and receive recognition within the IOTA community.
The upgrade addresses scalability issues found in the previous version, which was limited by manual coordination and focused primarily on existing IOTA holders. The new version is designed to be more inclusive, enabling anyone with an interest in IOTA to join, participate, and contribute to the ecosystem’s growth.
Joining the Program
Becoming an IOTA ambassador is now easier than ever. Prospective participants can join by visiting the GiveRep website, connecting their social media accounts and wallets, and posting content about IOTA using specific hashtags. This process eliminates the need for cumbersome forms and waiting periods, making it accessible to a broader audience.
Participants who stake with the GiveRep validator receive additional benefits, such as extra reputation points and an influencer badge that enhances their profile visibility on the platform.
New Campaign Initiative
The launch of the first global Ambassador Campaign coincides with the program upgrade. Running until November 17, 2025, this campaign encourages ambassadors to create content showcasing how IOTA and TWIN are modernizing international trade. By participating, ambassadors can earn points and $IOTA rewards while highlighting IOTA’s capabilities in supporting high transaction volumes and improving network adoption.
