Meanwhile, a new cross-chain DeFi project in the PayFi space is gaining momentum, suggesting that the age of speculative meme coins may be giving way to more real-world use cases.

With attention shifting from hype to infrastructure, the urgency to lock into the best crypto to buy now is rising. While Shiba Inu’s slide highlights the risk of weak fundamentals, the alternative project stands out as an undervalued crypto project poised for rapid growth and many early buyers are already seeing big gains.

Shiba Inu Price Under Pressure as Key Support Breaks

The Shiba Inu price took a sharp turn this week when it slipped below the $0.00001 mark — the lower boundary of a multi-week descending triangle pattern. This move signals that the market may be ready for deeper losses. Exchange net-flows are flashing red, implying holders are shipping tokens out to sell.

Analysts now point to the next liquidity zone near $0.0000080 and then $0.0000072 if this support fails. On-chain activity is weak: the TVL on its layer-2 platform is collapsing, and burn-rates are falling.

If you’re holding SHIB thinking it will surge immediately, you may soon regret the decision. The trend is skewing decisively toward downside unless something changes. This is not your typical top altcoin to invest in scenario – it’s a warning that even once-mighty memecoins can crumble without adoption.

Remittix (RTX): The High-Growth Utility Bet

Remittix is making headlines for all the right reasons. The project has raised about $28 million in private funding, demonstrating genuine demand for its offering. The team is now working to deliver a wallet and ecosystem that allow crypto to fiat banking across 30+ countries with ultra-low fees.

Early buyers are already up hundreds of percent; analysts are calling it “XRP 2.0” and projecting it to be the next 100x crypto in 2025. The momentum is real and time-sensitive.

Compared to Shiba Inu’s shaky structure, this project stands out on utility, product roadmap, and community traction. If you’re hunting for a high growth crypto 2025 pick, this might be one of the few early-stage crypto investments offering both urgency and substance.

Why Remittix Is Gaining Traction

  • Global Reach: Send crypto directly to bank accounts in 30+ countries
  • Real-World Utility: Built for payments and remittance rather than speculation
  • Security First: Audited by CertiK with top-ranked pre-launch credibility
  • Wallet Beta Imminent: Mobile-first experience with real-time FX conversion
  • Over $28 Million Raised: One of the fastest-growing early-stage crypto investments in 2025

Shiba Inu price has lost a key support level and the risk of further loss now overshadows the hope of a quick rebound. Meanwhile, a utility-driven DeFi project ticks the boxes that meme coins no longer satisfy: real usage, strong funding, tight timeline, and investor urgency.

Miss the Shiba bounce? No regrets. But hesitate on the emerging project now? That could be the chance you look back on later wishing you’d acted. The window is open — decide which side of the fence you want to be on.

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

The post Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. “It’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress,” writes Pipes. Getty Images Washington is addicted to taxing success. Now, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is floating a plan to skim half the patent earnings from inventions developed at universities with federal funding. It’s being sold as a way to shore up programs like Social Security. In reality, it’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress. Yes, taxpayer dollars support early-stage research. But the real payoff comes later—in the jobs created, cures discovered, and industries launched when universities and private industry turn those discoveries into real products. By comparison, the sums at stake in patent licensing are trivial. Universities collectively earn only about $3.6 billion annually in patent income—less than the federal government spends on Social Security in a single day. Even confiscating half would barely register against a $6 trillion federal budget. And yet the damage from such a policy would be anything but trivial. The true return on taxpayer investment isn’t in licensing checks sent to Washington, but in the downstream economic activity that federally supported research unleashes. Thanks to the bipartisan Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, universities and private industry have powerful incentives to translate early-stage discoveries into real-world products. Before Bayh-Dole, the government hoarded patents from federally funded research, and fewer than 5% were ever licensed. Once universities could own and license their own inventions, innovation exploded. The result has been one of the best returns on investment in government history. Since 1996, university research has added nearly $2 trillion to U.S. industrial output, supported 6.5 million jobs, and launched more than 19,000 startups. Those companies pay…
