PANews reported on November 11 that, according to Eleanor Terrett, Canary Funds has officially submitted Form 8-A to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This is the final step before the ETF officially takes effect. If Nasdaq completes its listing certification by 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, the first XRP spot ETF will officially begin trading when the U.S. stock market opens on Thursday.
