Most traders spot the big winners only after they explode. By then, the early gains are gone. But every now and then, a project stays under the radar just long enough to give early buyers a chance to enter before the wider market catches up. That is exactly what is happening with a new DeFi cryptocurrency that many dismissed in its first weeks, only to realize it is now gaining major traction. The signs are becoming harder to ignore, and analysts say the momentum shift is already underway.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM)

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is building a decentralized lending system that focuses on efficient liquidity and clear risk controls. The platform uses a Peer-to-Contract model where users supply assets into a liquidity pool and receive mtTokens. These mtTokens grow automatically as interest is earned. For example, if someone supplies $1,000 worth of ETH and the utilization rate is high, APY rises. mtTokens update in real time to reflect that growth. This simple setup gives users passive income without constant monitoring.

Mutuum Finance will also support isolated Peer-to-Peer markets for assets that require more control. Borrow rates change based on utilization. When capital is abundant, rates stay low to encourage borrowing. When capital is scarce, rates rise to bring liquidity back and motivate repayments. Borrowers will interact with Loan-to-Value (LTV) limits determined by asset risk. A safer asset like ETH may have higher borrowing power, while riskier tokens have stricter limits. If a loan drifts too close to its threshold, the system triggers liquidation. Liquidators can buy discounted collateral to restore balance. This protects lenders and keeps the platform solvent.

Growing Demand

Mutuum Finance launched its presale in early 2025 at $0.01. Today the token is priced at $0.035 in Phase 6, showing a 250% increase from the first phase. But the real signal of demand comes from the numbers behind the scenes. The project has raised $18.6 million, attracted 17,900 holders, and sold 800 million tokens. From a total supply of 4 billion MUTM tokens, 45.5% (about 1.82 billion) is reserved for the presale.

Phase 6 is now over 85% allocated, and momentum is rising. Each presale stage has a fixed price and fixed supply. The faster a stage sells out, the quicker the token price increases in the next stage. That structure creates natural demand. As more buyers enter, stages close faster.

Mutuum Finance also introduced direct card purchases with no limits, which increased accessibility and attracted more investors. Another feature driving engagement is the 24-hour leaderboard. Each day, the top contributor receives $500 in MUTM tokens. This keeps the presale active and transparent.

Confirmed V1 Launch and Completed Security

One of the biggest reasons for rising attention is the confirmed V1 release. Mutuum Finance announced on X that its V1 lending and borrowing protocol will launch on Sepolia testnet in Q4 2025. This first release includes the Liquidity Pool, mtTokens, Debt Tokens and the Liquidator Bot. ETH and USDT will be the first supported assets.

Having a working version so close to launch gives the project credibility. Many tokens launch without a real product. Mutuum Finance is taking the opposite route by showing concrete progress before listing day. This is one of the main reasons analysts are calling MUTM a strong contender and one of the top cryptocurrencies to watch heading into 2026.

Security is another major factor. Mutuum Finance completed a CertiK audit, which increases trust among investors who prioritize safety. An audited project stands out in the DeFi crypto space, where smart-contract risk is a common concern. The team also operates a $50,000 bug bounty to encourage responsible disclosure before mainnet.

Analysts who reviewed Mutuum Finance predict strong growth potential once V1 is live. Some forecasts suggest a possible 3x to 6x appreciation in the early months after listing as long as lending activity accelerates and utilization climbs. Their projections are based on adoption, not hype.

Why MUTM Is Rising Now

Mutuum Finance builds utility, audited security, a working roadmap and a presale structure that continues to gain traction. With Phase 6 over 85% allocated, card payments active, whale participation entering and V1 on the horizon, traders are realizing the project is no longer one they should overlook.

As more investors search for what crypto to buy now for 2025 growth, Mutuum Finance is emerging as one of the strongest new crypto coins in the market. That is why the token that many ignored at the start is now rising fast and why more traders are paying attention before it reaches its final stages.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
