‘Dímelo Bajito’ Launches New Mercedes Ron YA Trilogy

A love triangle emerges between Kami, Thiago, and Taylor (Alicia Falcó, Fernando Lindez and Diego Vidales) in “Dímelo Bajito.”

Amazon MGM Studios/Julen Martin

Another Mercedes Ron young adult romance trilogy is about to take off, aiming to continue attracting fans of her first hit Culpables film series. And to do just that, Prime Video dropped the first look trailer for Dímelo Bajito (Tell Me Softly), unveiling the next chapter in the expanding universe of the New York Times bestselling Argentinian author.

Alicia Falcó (Billionaires’ Bunker, In the Company of Women), Fernando Lindez (Élite), and Diego Vidales (Nudes) lead the cast as Kami, Thiago, and Taylor in this adaptation of the first novel from Ron’s Dímelo (Tell Me) series.

The story centers on Kamila ”Kami” Hamilton, whose seemingly perfect world shatters when the basketball-playing Di Bianco brothers come back into her life after years away. Their unexpected return forces Kami to confront feelings she’s kept buried since their departure.

The brothers had a profound impact on her, with Thiago giving her her first kiss seven years earlier while Taylor offered unwavering protection. But a lot has changed since they left. She has changed, and she’s no longer the girl they remember.

Fast cars and races aren’t in the mix this time, but the trailer teases an intense emotional love triangle, angst, competition and of course, sexual tension and attraction. These themes were ever-present in the Culpables trilogy. The final installment of that series, Culpa Nuestra, concluded in October.

The ensemble cast includes Celia Freijeiro (Red Queen) as Chiara, Patricia Vico (Operación Marea Negra) as Anne, Andrés Velencoso (Return to Las Sabinas) as Tino, Eve Ryan (Culpa mía) as Cata, Jan Buxaderas as Dani, and Fernando Nagore as Jules.

Denis Rovira (Punto Nemo) directs from a screenplay by Jaime Vaca (Élite), with Borja Pena (Cell 211, The Courier) and Emma Lustres (Retribution, Infiesto) producing for Vaca Films (Fatum, Sky High).

Building The House of Ron

The film marks the latest collaboration between Prime Video and Ron, part of what’s now called The House of Ron. The partnership has proven remarkably successful, with the Culpable trilogy becoming a global phenomenon. Culpa Tuya became the most-watched international original film on Prime Video at launch, while the franchise’s popularity spawned an English-language adaptation, My Fault: London.

Tell Me Softly represents just one piece of Ron’s expanding screen universe. The second film in the trilogy, Tell Me in Secret, is currently in production in Galicia. Additionally, adaptations of Ron’s Confronted duology, Marfil (Ivory) and Ébano (Ebony), have completed filming and will arrive on Prime Video soon.

Ron’s ability to craft passionate young adult romance stories has translated seamlessly from her original Wattpad novels to screen, attracting devoted fanbases that eagerly await each new release. That powerful viewership that made the Culpable films international hits.

Dímelo Bajito premieres exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories starting December 12.

A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release

The post A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Everyone has wondered what may be the next step for KPop Demon Hunters as an IP, given its record-breaking success on Netflix. Now, the answer may be something exactly no one predicted. According to a new filing with the MPA, something called Debut: A KPop Demon Hunters Story has been rated PG by the ratings body. It’s listed alongside some other films, and this is obviously something that has not been publicly announced. A short film could be well, very short, a few minutes, and likely no more than ten. Even that might be pushing it. Using say, Pixar shorts as a reference, most are between 4 and 8 minutes. The original movie is an hour and 36 minutes. The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix It could be sooner rather than later as Netflix looks to capitalize…

China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise

China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise

The post China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. China Blocks Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D as Local Chips Rise China’s internet regulator has ordered the country’s biggest technology firms, including Alibaba and ByteDance, to stop purchasing Nvidia’s RTX Pro 6000D GPUs. According to the Financial Times, the move shuts down the last major channel for mass supplies of American chips to the Chinese market. Why Beijing Halted Nvidia Purchases Chinese companies had planned to buy tens of thousands of RTX Pro 6000D accelerators and had already begun testing them in servers. But regulators intervened, halting the purchases and signaling stricter controls than earlier measures placed on Nvidia’s H20 chip. Image: Nvidia An audit compared Huawei and Cambricon processors, along with chips developed by Alibaba and Baidu, against Nvidia’s export-approved products. Regulators concluded that Chinese chips had reached performance levels comparable to the restricted U.S. models. This assessment pushed authorities to advise firms to rely more heavily on domestic processors, further tightening Nvidia’s already limited position in China. China’s Drive Toward Tech Independence The decision highlights Beijing’s focus on import substitution — developing self-sufficient chip production to reduce reliance on U.S. supplies. “The signal is now clear: all attention is focused on building a domestic ecosystem,” said a representative of a leading Chinese tech company. Nvidia had unveiled the RTX Pro 6000D in July 2025 during CEO Jensen Huang’s visit to Beijing, in an attempt to keep a foothold in China after Washington restricted exports of its most advanced chips. But momentum is shifting. Industry sources told the Financial Times that Chinese manufacturers plan to triple AI chip production next year to meet growing demand. They believe “domestic supply will now be sufficient without Nvidia.” What It Means for the Future With Huawei, Cambricon, Alibaba, and Baidu stepping up, China is positioning itself for long-term technological independence. Nvidia, meanwhile, faces…
