The Grass Isn’t Always Greener: An Investor Cautionary Tale

The story of a BlockchainFX holder, who watched the project’s crypto presale extend for over eight months with an uncertain launch date, is becoming a common cautionary tale. Despite raising over $11 million, the prolonged timeline and lack of a clear listing schedule have tested early adopters’ patience, and it seems as though it is wearing thin.

Similarly, while BlockDAG’s tech narrative is compelling, its crypto presale has also been active for a long while, leading to whispers of investor fatigue. These experiences don’t do much for the already too-weary sentiment surrounding presales, and investors have grown much more cautious.

The initial excitement of finding the best crypto to buy now and getting a ground-floor opportunity is being replaced with a very important question: “What can this project do for me today?” This has led to investors turning their attention from BlockDAG and BlockchainFX to other opportunities that offer much more than words, whitepapers, and promises.

The Problem of the “Vaporware” Crypto Presale

The core risk that investors are now actively trying to avoid is the “vaporware” presale. This refers to a project that fundraises on a compelling concept but fails to deliver a functional product or even a concept of one in a reasonable timeframe. And for all their strengths, BlockchainFX and BlockDAG represent a bet on future outcomes.

BlocklchainFX’s platform is in a beta state, and its token faces the risk of being overvalued at its planned listing price. This could trigger significant sell pressure from early presale participants, who have been waiting for months for any return on their investment.

Meanwhile, BlockDAG, while ambitious in its goal to solve the blockchain trilemma with a hybrid PoW and DAG structure, is still an infrastructure play. This means that its success is contingent on widespread developer adoption, and this can take years. With all this in mind, neither BlockchainFX nor BlockDAG has made it into experts’ best crypto to buy now lists.

Digitap’s Emergence: A Live and Functioning Omnibank in People’s Pockets

While both BlockchainFX and BlockDAG struggle to keep investor interest, Digitap seems to be stealing it. As the world’s first-ever omnibank, it offers massive adoption potential, one that doesn’t cling to a single market. Instead, its services go way beyond, with experts believing Digitap can break into not one, not two, but potentially three global markets.

First off, there’s, of course, the cryptocurrency market, as Digitap is a crypto project. Second, there’s the global finance market, as Digitap offers services that can benefit both crypto and non-crypto users. Third, there’s the global payments market, as Digitap cuts the industry average cross-border payment fees of 6.2% to under 1%.

But making global transactions cheaper isn’t DDigitap’s offer. It’s actually the merge between crypto and fiat, as the Digitap app, which is live even now, allows users to hold, store, and spend both crypto and fiat in one place. So, it has successfully combined the two, giving people instant transactions and the ability to enjoy the best of both.

Digitap also offers Visa-backed crypto cards, via which people can spend both crypto and fiat anywhere Visa is accepted. With all this, it’s not surprising that experts see $TAP as the best crypto to buy now.

Digitap Is Just In Time With the Market’s Shift to Utility Plays

As the market evolves and matures, it seems as though it is finally leaving memecoins behind and bringing back the importance of utility projects. The memecoin era seems to be over, and many investors are looking for solid, promising projects that offer long-term potential.

So, according to experts, Digitap is here just in time, as they see it as a leader of the utility comeback. Also, they see Digitap’s potential beyond the crypto market, as they believe it can usher in a new standard for money management.

With this in mind, they see $TAP as not only the best crypto to buy now, but also as a project that might become a household name in global finance.

So, they believe that Digitap’s start might be slow in the beginning, but potentially turn into a whole new trend and standard, which is why they deem it as the best crypto to buy now.

The post Taiko Makes Chainlink Data Streams Its Official Oracle appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Key Notes Taiko has officially integrated Chainlink Data Streams for its Layer 2 network. The integration provides developers with high-speed market data to build advanced DeFi applications. The move aims to improve security and attract institutional adoption by using Chainlink’s established infrastructure. Taiko, an Ethereum-based ETH $4 514 24h volatility: 0.4% Market cap: $545.57 B Vol. 24h: $28.23 B Layer 2 rollup, has announced the integration of Chainlink LINK $23.26 24h volatility: 1.7% Market cap: $15.75 B Vol. 24h: $787.15 M Data Streams. The development comes as the underlying Ethereum network continues to see significant on-chain activity, including large sales from ETH whales. The partnership establishes Chainlink as the official oracle infrastructure for the network. It is designed to provide developers on the Taiko platform with reliable and high-speed market data, essential for building a wide range of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, from complex derivatives platforms to more niche projects involving unique token governance models. According to the project’s official announcement on Sept. 17, the integration enables the creation of more advanced on-chain products that require high-quality, tamper-proof data to function securely. Taiko operates as a “based rollup,” which means it leverages Ethereum validators for transaction sequencing for strong decentralization. Boosting DeFi and Institutional Interest Oracles are fundamental services in the blockchain industry. They act as secure bridges that feed external, off-chain information to on-chain smart contracts. DeFi protocols, in particular, rely on oracles for accurate, real-time price feeds. Taiko leadership stated that using Chainlink’s infrastructure aligns with its goals. The team hopes the partnership will help attract institutional crypto investment and support the development of real-world applications, a goal that aligns with Chainlink’s broader mission to bring global data on-chain. Kalshi Prediction Markets Are Pulling In $1 Billion Monthly as State Regulators Loom

Kalshi Prediction Markets Are Pulling In $1 Billion Monthly as State Regulators Loom

The post Kalshi Prediction Markets Are Pulling In $1 Billion Monthly as State Regulators Loom appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In brief Kalshi reached $1 billion in monthly volume and now dominates 62% of the global prediction market industry, surpassing Polymarket’s 37% share. Four states including Massachusetts have filed lawsuits claiming Kalshi operates as an unlicensed sportsbook, with Massachusetts seeking to permanently bar the platform. Kalshi operates under federal CFTC regulation as a designated contract market, arguing this preempts state gambling laws that require separate licensing. Prediction market Kalshi just topped $1 billion in monthly volume as state regulators nip at its heels with lawsuits alleging that it’s an unregistered sports betting platform. “Despite being limited to only American customers, Kalshi has now risen to dominate the global prediction market industry,” the company said in a press release. “New data scraped from publicly available activity metrics details this rise.” The publicly available data appears on a Dune Analytics dashboard that’s been tracking prediction market notional volume. The data show that Kalshi now accounts for roughly 62% of global prediction market volume, Polymarket for 37%, and the rest split between Limitless and Myriad, the prediction market owned by Decrypt parent company Dastan. Trading volume on Kalshi skyrocketed in August, not coincidentally at the start of the NFL season and as the prediction market pushes further into sports. But regulators in Maryland, Nevada, and New Jersey have all issued cease-and-desist orders, arguing Kalshi’s event contracts amount to unlicensed sports betting. Each case has spilled into federal court, with judges issuing preliminary rulings but no final decisions yet. Last week, Massachusetts went further, filing a lawsuit that calls Kalshi’s sports contracts “illegal and unsafe sports wagering.” The 43-page Massachusetts lawsuit seeks to stop the company from allowing state residents on its platform—much the way Coinbase has had to do with its staking offerings in parts of the United States. Massachusetts Attorney General…
