XRP and Solana Are Losing Steam: Why Investors Are Dumping Them for Digitap ($TAP) Crypto Presale

xrp

Even long-term investors are starting to lose faith in XRP and Solana, creating an opening for Digitap ($TAP). In markets where Bitcoin’s bounce has run out of fuel, many major altcoins are struggling to gain traction despite big headlines.

Meanwhile, Digitap’s ongoing crypto presale is quietly gaining steam, backed by a working platform, a strong focus on payment rails, and a limited-time Black Friday offer that could drive early returns. Investors who have been watching XRP or Solana are now seriously considering $TAP instead.

Traders Watch XRP Slip as Momentum Fades

In recent trading, XRP has shown technical signs of fatigue. XRP’s daily signals lean “Sell,” with moving averages and oscillators pointing downward.

On the charts, the token is trapped in a descending triangle and shows oversold momentum across multiple time frames.

At a price near ~$2.22, with resistance stuck below ~$2.50, a breakdown toward ~$1.60–$1.80 looks increasingly plausible unless volume and buying pressure return.

For an asset once banking on ETF flows, the lack of an upward jump underlines how investor focus has shifted away from big names and toward utility-driven plays.

Solana Struggles to Hold Key Levels Amid Bearish Pressure

Solana entered the year with momentum, but now appears to be hitting a wall. Technical platforms flag SOL as a “Strong Sell” in both the daily and weekly windows, with moving averages overwhelmingly bearish (2 Buy vs 10 Sell signals) and macro momentum weak. The overall trend is clearly bearish, and analysts advise traders to consider short positions until a clear breakout forms.

With institutional headlines failing to elevate the token and its price trending sideways or downward, investors are increasingly seeking alternatives outside the major cohort.

New Presale Project Digitap ($TAP) Attracts Early Investor Interest

While XRP and Solana struggle with sentiment and momentum, Digitap’s presale is gaining solid traction. The project is targeting everyday utility over hype. Its omni-bank platform lets users spend crypto with Visa wherever Visa is accepted, supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, and offers international transfers with fees as low as 1% and no-KYC options available.

The current presale round is already more than 90% complete, with just the final 10% until the next pricing stage. Right now, $TAP trades at $0.0326 with the next step set for $0.0334, and a confirmed launch price at $0.14, offering potentially 330%+ upside before public listing.

On top of that, Digitap is running a Black Friday offer that temporarily deepens the discount for early buyers, making the current entry point even stronger. Unlike many presales that offer only promises, Digitap already has a working product and a clear path to growth in a trillion-dollar payments market.

Market Rotation Shows Shift From Hype to Function

From a technical perspective, XRP and SOL need breakouts above nearby resistance with rising volume to re-ignite trend strength. Until that happens, range trading and pullbacks remain the base case. In that kind of tape, investors often rotate into early-stage names that can grow on product adoption rather than headline momentum.

Digitap fits that bill. It points directly at the payments and remittances opportunity, where real users drive on-chain volume. It already solves a simple pain point—“I have crypto, I want to spend it like cash”—and pairs it with tangible economics: staking yields, fee discounts, and a deflationary burn tied to activity.

Investors Looking Beyond XRP and Solana Find Promise in Digitap

XRP and Solana are household names, but their charts still ask for confirmation. Digitap doesn’t need that kind of catalyst; it needs users, and it’s onboarding them with thousands of people using Digitap’s Visa card already.

With already 160% growth from the initial price, a current Black Friday 40% discount, and an announced $0.14 listing target, $TAP stands out as an exceptional crypto presale with clear upside. Anyone who has been watching the majors sees the weakness, and $TAP presents a totally different story. This kind of early-stage, utility-driven story often leads the next move.

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
