WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025 Match Card

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 is built primarily around its namesake, with one blockbuster WarGames Match for the the men’s division and another for the women’s. Below is the full match card for the 39th annual Survivor Series from PetCo Park:

  • Men’s WarGames Match: CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre
  • Women’s WarGames Match: AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka, Becky Lynch, Kairi Sane, Lash Legend and Nia Jax
  • Intercontinental Championship: John Cena (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella

For the men’s WarGames match, the heel side earned the advantage on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw when Paul and McIntyre defeated the Usos in Tag Team action. Meanwhile, the babyface women have the advantage for the women’s WarGames match after Charlotte Flair beat Asuka on Friday’s SmackDown.

WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025 Betting Odds

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 is expected to have a significant impact on the creative direction for the main event of WrestleMania 42, and with so many marquee stars involved the show, numerous other storyline developments are a virtual guarantee.

Below are full betting odds (current at time of publication) for WWE Survivor Series 2025 (h/t BetOnline.ag):

Men’s WarGames Match: CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns (+150) vs. Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre (-200)

The reality of WarGames is that if the babyface side wins the men’s match, then the heels will probably win the women’s match. Or vice versa.

Looking at the men’s babyface side, there have been a lot of storyline conflicts between and among virtually all the stars in the bout. That’s not to say that everyone on Paul Heyman’s heel side gets along, but as of late, the issues have run deeper among the likes of CM Punk, Roman Reigns and the Usos while Rhodes, of course, has a history with Reigns as well.

The best bet here is that a miscommunication will cost the fan favorites, allowing for someone like Bron Breakker or Brock Lesnar to win it for Heyman and company.

Women’s WarGames Match: AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley (-700) vs. Asuka, Becky Lynch, Kairi Sane, Lash Legend and Nia Jax (+400)

As noted, it’s unlikely that either both heel teams or both babyface teams will win the WarGames matches at WWE Survivor Series 2025.

In examining the sheer star power of the babyface side in the women’s match, it’s difficult to envision a team featuring so many key top stars losing, but much like the men’s match, issues between former rivals like Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley could come into play. The heel team could really use a blockbuster win at Survivor Series, but outside of maybe Alexa Bliss, there’s not a strong candidate to take the loss.

This could all change depending upon WWE’s plans for the men’s match, but right now, this bout is a slight lean toward Ripley’s side.

Intercontinental Championship: John Cena (+300) vs. Dominik Mysterio (-500)

At one point, John Cena was scheduled to face and defeat Dominik Mysterio (for the first time) for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Survivor Series.

Instead, Cena beat Mysterio on Raw in Boston and won the title then, making it a bit of a surprise that the two stars are facing each other again at Survivor Series. Long-term, however, it appears that WWE’s plan for Cena is to have him defend his IC title against Gunther in his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

While it wouldn’t be a total shocker if Mysterio somehow beat Cena for the title, a statement win by Cena in preparation for his match with Gunther makes more sense.

Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (-2500) vs. Nikki Bella (+800)

Nikki Bella’s heel turn on Stephanie Vaquer was telegraphed from a mile away, so it’s logical that Bella is challenging her for the Women’s World Championship at WWE Survivor Series.

What isn’t logical, or likely, is Bella actually winning the title. Not only did Vaquer only just recently win the Women’s World Championship, but Bella hasn’t picked up nearly enough notable victories during her current run to be taken seriously as a world champion right now.

Vaquer should leave WWE Survivor Series still the champion, but she will likely retain in a way that extends her feud with Bella.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…

Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome

The post Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. USD/CAD gains marginally to near 1.3760 ahead of monetary policy announcements by the Fed and the BoC. Both the Fed and the BoC are expected to lower interest rates. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern. The USD/CAD pair ticks up to near 1.3760 during the late European session on Wednesday. The Loonie pair gains marginally ahead of monetary policy outcomes by the Bank of Canada (BoC) and the Federal Reserve (Fed) during New York trading hours. Both the BoC and the Fed are expected to cut interest rates amid mounting labor market conditions in their respective economies. Inflationary pressures in the Canadian economy have cooled down, emerging as another reason behind the BoC’s dovish expectations. However, the Fed is expected to start the monetary-easing campaign despite the United States (US) inflation remaining higher. Investors will closely monitor press conferences from both Fed Chair Jerome Powell and BoC Governor Tiff Macklem to get cues about whether there will be more interest rate cuts in the remainder of the year. According to analysts from Barclays, the Fed’s latest median projections for interest rates are likely to call for three interest rate cuts by 2025. Ahead of the Fed’s monetary policy, the US Dollar Index (DXY), which tracks the Greenback’s value against six major currencies, holds onto Tuesday’s losses near 96.60. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern, which indicates a bearish reversal. The neckline of the above-mentioned chart pattern is plotted near 1.3715. The near-term trend of the pair remains bearish as it stays below the 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which trades around 1.3800. The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) slides to near 40.00. A fresh bearish momentum would emerge if the RSI falls below that level. Going forward, the asset could slide towards the round level of…
