The technical indicators indicate a possible breakout, and XRP is in critical price levels. Traders monitor $2.60 resistance with bullish exchange supply indicators.

XRP is at a decisive point. The cryptocurrency is trading around critical resistance points that would likely define its direction.

The participants of the market observe the important technical levels. Price action is confined within set limits as the traders anticipate a sense of direction.

Technical Levels Define Trading Range

As noted by @egragcrypto on X, above the Fibonacci level of 0.5, XRP needs to close higher than 2.60 to affirm the presence of bullish momentum. Any break above 3.40 would trigger the asset above the Fibonacci 0.888, indicating high upward growth potential.

The risk of downside focuses on the 21 exponential moving average. Any close lower than this indicator would nullify the bull case completely.

As CW8900 pointed out on X, XRP is misleading with its convergence pattern. False breakouts have caused liquidations of leveraged positions as well as shaking out spot holders.

By the end of the week, the direction will become crystallized. Sub-indicators are pointing at possible upward movement, even though it is volatile.

Exchange Supply Signals Accumulation.

The supply of XRP in exchanges keeps falling as the asset holds in a twelve-month trading range. This trend usually develops in reaccumulation stages, prior to uphill breakouts.

On X, ChartNerdTA reported that XRP has a bullish cross on its weekly Stochastic RSI. The indicator is also in the oversold territory.

Bullish crosses of the last two in 2025 have yielded moves of 600% and 130% respectively. The historical tendencies provide an indication that a lot of upside is ahead.

Bullish arguments are supported by weekly technical indicators. The Stochastic RSI crossover is coupled with falling exchange balances to create a promising outlook.

The market forces are competing to consolidate prices. The bulls and bears fight with the status quo.

Traders lie on the side where movement is expected. The level of preparation is heightened as the technical signals converge with the basic factors.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
