The number of new episodes ordered for each series in season two has not been confirmed at press time.

Waiting in the Wings

CBS is also preparing its next Fire Country spinoff, tentatively titled Rescue Country, which will follow a team of first responders tackling high-stakes emergencies in a small Northern California town. The network has indicated that it plans to slot the series in its 2026–2027 Friday night lineup, potentially expanding the Friday crime-and-rescue block that now includes Sheriff Country and Fire Country.
