PANews reported on December 4th that the Nikkei 225 index rose 2.00% intraday. Meanwhile, the yield on Japan's 5-year government bonds rose 1.5 basis points to 1.4%, a new high since June 2008. The yield on Japan's 10-year government bonds rose 3 basis points to 1.920%, the highest level since July 2007.
