MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court (SC) unanimously ordered the return of P60 billion that the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) remitted to the national treasury in 2024.
By a majority vote, the SC also voided the Department of Finance circular and the provision in the 2024 national budget that enabled the PhilHealth fund transfer.
