All’s Fair, starring Kim Kardashian, wraps up its first season on Tuesday with a two-episode finale. What’s up next for the legal drama?

Created by Ryan Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken, All’s Fair premiered with its first three episodes on Hulu on Nov. 4. The official synopsis for the series reads, “A team of female divorce attorneys leaves a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice.

“Fierce, brilliant and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets and shifting allegiances — both in the courtroom and within their own ranks. In a world where money talks and love is a battleground, these women don’t just play the game — they change it.”

Kardashian stars in All’s Fair as Allura Grant, while Naomi Watts plays Liberty Ronson. The series also stars Niecy Nash-Betts as Emerald Green, Sarah Paulson as Carrington Lane, Teyana Taylor as Milan and Glenn Close as Dina Standish.

All’s Fair got off to a rough start with Rotten Tomatoes reviewers, who initially gave the series a 0% “rotten” critics’ score based on five reviews. The next day, the series landed one “fresh” review on RT, which upped the overall critics’ score to 5% “rotten” based on 21 reviews. Since that time, the critics’ score dropped to 3% “rotten” score on RT based on 31 reviews.

However, the series currently has a 65% “fresh” Popcornmeter score on RT, which is based on 1,000-plus verified user ratings.

Of course, the future of any given series on TV isn’t dictated by how critics feel about them, but by viewership — and it didn’t take Hulu long to decide on the fate of All’s Fair.

‘All’s Fair’ Is Already Renewed For A Second Season

While All’s Fair was almost universally panned by critics upon its release in early November, it didn’t prevent viewers from streaming the series.

In fact, All’s Fair marked the biggest debut of a Hulu Original series in three years,” Deadline reported. According to the industry trade publication, All’s Fair had 3.2 million views worldwide in its first three days on Hulu.

The numbers were clearly enough for Hulu to justify more of All’s Fair, and on Nov. 24, the platform announced that the series would return for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The announcement didn’t indicate when All’s Fair Season 2 will premiere.

Kardashian revealed in November on her Instagram Stories (via E! Online) that she failed the California Bar Examination, writing, “Falling short isn’t failure—it’s fuel. “I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more.”

Kardashian also alluded to All’s Fair in the Instagram Stories post, “I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.”

All’s Fair Season 1, Episodes 8 and 9, titled Oh, Jesus! and Interior Law Offices, are new on Hulu on Tuesday.

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
