Sentient Unveils ‘SERA-Crypto’ to Tackle Hallucination Crisis in Crypto Research

Sentient Labs, a renowned open-source AI entity, has announced the official launch of SERA-Crypto, a new open-source AI agent for crypto research. SERA-Crypto’s launch aims to resolve the issue of “Hallucination Crisis” within the crypto research landscape. As Sentient mentioned in its press release, the new project focuses on delivering real-time and verifiable Web3 and crypto analysis for high-risk financial decisions. Specifically, the initiative benefits wallets, research teams, dashboards, and exchanges.

Sentient’s New AI Crypto Research Agent Sets Exclusive Benchmark for Accurate and Verifiable Web3 Analysis

Sentient’s exclusive SERA-Crypto operates as an open-source AI agent to streamline crypto research. At its core, the project provides a robust solution for the “Hallucination Crisis” by surfacing on-chain data, protocol risk evaluation, and tokenomics insights within thirty seconds, with complete citations. Additionally, it also offers reproducible reasoning and complete citations for the results it presents. Hence, the project addresses the crucial reliability issues that are impacting the generalist AI models within the financial landscape, specifically as the market undergoes a rising problem of AI trust.

At the moment, when the prediction and crypto markets are witnessing wider mainstream traction, more consumers are depending on AI for the interpretation of rapidly-moving odds, on-chain signals, and catalysts. This significantly increases the cost of irresponsible answers. At the same time, while volume distortions and noisy signals are already bothering some entities, crypto leaves no margin for stale or hallucinated outputs. Keeping this in view, SERA-Crypto leverages a unique open-source framework for the provision of results within thirty seconds while ensuring verifiable accuracy.

Particularly, on being asked about the revenue generation of the Solana ecosystem, SERA-Crypto provides an organized analysis. This takes into account revenue figures, growth trajectory, comparison standards, certain protocol-scale daily data, peak periods, forward-looking outlook, and risk factors. Additionally, GPT-5 delivers precise high-level figures while depending heavily on one source and offering less frequent protocol breakdown. Subsequently, it also prompts the consumer to freely ask further questions instead of offering thorough analysis upfront.

Exclusive Initiative Serves as Significant Breakthrough in Real-Time, Reliable Blockchain Intelligence

While discussing this launch, Sentient’s co-founder, Himanshu Tyagi, highlighted the significance of responsible and accurate AI answers. As per him, the incorrect answers from AI can lead to extreme losses. Tyagi added that when Coinbase consumers ask the AI regarding the unlock schedule of the token, they put their money at stake. For that reason, Sentient’s SERA-Crypto utilizes a research framework that can be verified and improved.

Thus, powered by the Semantic Embedding and Reasoning Agent (SERA) architecture of Sentient, SERA-Crypto delivers efficient Web3 reasoning, focusing on blockchain fundamentals, token economies, DAOs, DeFi, and smart contracts. According to Sentient, the temporal relevance, data consistency, user cases, research depth, and performance are the key benefits of prioritizing SERA-Crypto in comparison with generalist models.

Moreover, the framework backs more than fifty tools endpoints, taking into account market data APIs, derivatives feeds, and TVL trackers. Overall, with this, Sentient endeavors to revolutionize financial intelligence within the next-gen Web3 era, making real-time data, transparency, and accuracy new industry benchmark.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
