TLDR:

  • Bybit’s new mETH campaign offers 3% Bonus APR on Ethereum staking.
  • Stake ETH on Bybit, mint mETH, and earn extra rewards with faster withdrawals.
  • The mETH Boosted Yield Campaign runs until February 15, 2026.
  • Get 3% APR bonus and stake without external wallets or delays.
  • Bybit’s mETH protocol offers faster liquidity and higher staking yields.

Bybit has launched a new mETH Boosted Yield Campaign, in partnership with the mETH Protocol, aimed at enhancing Ethereum staking options for users. The campaign will run from December 16, 2025, to February 15, 2026, offering a fixed 3% Bonus APR on newly minted mETH. This initiative marks a significant step in Bybit’s commitment to expanding its On-Chain Earn offerings and providing more flexible, high-yield opportunities for Ethereum staking.

A 3% Bonus APR on mETH for New Stakers

During the campaign, participants can stake ETH to mint mETH directly on Bybit’s platform without needing external wallets or complex processes. Bybit users will receive a 3% bonus on their minted mETH, in addition to the standard staking rewards. This offer gives users an added incentive to engage with Ethereum staking during the event period.

The campaign leverages Bybit’s upgraded Buffer Pool mechanism, improving liquidity and reducing redemption times for mETH holders. Unlike traditional Ethereum unstaking, which can take days or weeks, the new system offers near-instant withdrawal capabilities under normal conditions. This development makes mETH a more attractive asset for Ethereum participants looking for faster liquidity and better flexibility.

mETH Protocol Enhances Ethereum Staking Liquidity

mETH is a receipt token issued for ETH staked via the mETH Protocol, which is part of the Mantle Liquid Staking Program. The mETH token offers a higher sustainable staking yield compared to many other Ethereum staking options. With the new Buffer Pool upgrade, the mETH Protocol now allows faster liquidity access and improved capital efficiency for Ethereum stakers.

The collaboration with Aave, which supports the dynamic liquidity model of the Buffer Pool, ensures that withdrawals are processed efficiently. Users can stake ETH to mint mETH without worrying about the delays associated with traditional Ethereum unstaking. This strategic collaboration strengthens Bybit’s position as a leader in providing institutional-grade on-chain yield solutions.

mETH Boosted Yield Campaign Expands Access to High-Yield Opportunities

The mETH Boosted Yield Campaign highlights Bybit’s push to integrate more advanced DeFi solutions into its platform. This campaign not only enhances staking rewards but also increases the utility of mETH as collateral within Bybit’s Unified Trading Accounts. This allows users to maintain trading activity while earning staking rewards on their mETH holdings.

Users participating in the campaign will receive their bonus rewards daily, distributed to their Funding Accounts. Eligibility for the mETH rewards is based on hourly balance snapshots, with the lowest recorded balance within 24 hours determining the eligible amount. mETH assets used for certain purposes like loans or copy trading are excluded from the campaign’s bonus rewards.

Bybit’s focus on providing fast liquidity and higher yields through mETH staking showcases its commitment to improving user experience. With the bonus APR and faster redemption capabilities, the mETH Boosted Yield Campaign is designed to attract more users to its staking platform. Bybit’s continued innovation in the Ethereum staking space reinforces its position as a key player in the global crypto market.

SEC Backs Nasdaq, CBOE, NYSE Push to Simplify Crypto ETF Rules

The US SEC on Wednesday approved new listing rules for major exchanges, paving the way for a surge of crypto spot exchange-traded funds. On Wednesday, the regulator voted to let Nasdaq, Cboe BZX and NYSE Arca adopt generic listing standards for commodity-based trust shares. The decision clears the final hurdle for asset managers seeking to launch spot ETFs tied to cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin and Ether. In July, the SEC outlined how exchanges could bring new products to market under the framework. Asset managers and exchanges must now meet specific criteria, but will no longer need to undergo drawn-out case-by-case reviews. Solana And XRP Funds Seen to Be First In Line Under the new system, the time from filing to launch can shrink to as little as 75 days, compared with up to 240 days or more under the old rules. “This is the crypto ETP framework we’ve been waiting for,” Bloomberg research analyst James Seyffart said on X, predicting a wave of new products in the coming months. The first filings likely to benefit are those tracking Solana and XRP, both of which have sat in limbo for more than a year. SEC Chair Paul Atkins said the approval reflects a commitment to reduce barriers and foster innovation while maintaining investor protections. The move comes under the administration of President Donald Trump, which has signaled strong support for digital assets after years of hesitation during the Biden era. New Standards Replace Lengthy Reviews And Repeated Denials Until now, the commission reviewed each application separately, requiring one filing from the exchange and another from the asset manager. This dual process often dragged on for months and led to repeated denials. Even Bitcoin spot ETFs, finally approved in Jan. 2024, arrived only after years of resistance and a legal battle with Grayscale. According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the streamlined rules could apply to any cryptocurrency with at least six months of futures trading on the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange. That means more than a dozen tokens may now qualify for listing, potentially unleashing a new wave of altcoin ETFs. SEC Clears Grayscale Large Cap Fund Tracking CoinDesk 5 Index The SEC also approved the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund, which tracks the CoinDesk 5 Index, including Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana and Cardano. Alongside this, it cleared the launch of options linked to the Cboe Bitcoin US ETF Index and its mini contract, broadening the set of crypto-linked derivatives on regulated US markets. Analysts say the shift shows how far US policy has moved. Where once regulators resisted digital assets, the latest changes show a growing willingness to bring them into the mainstream financial system under established safeguards
