PANews reported on December 17th that, according to The Information, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google have been seeking specialized data to train their AI models and discussing collaborations with startups and publicly traded companies to license datasets on topics such as genomics. It is understood that in the past few months, OpenAI employees have been in discussions with life science diagnostics vendor Revvity, accounting software company Xero, and companies in the biotechnology, consumer healthcare, software, and financial services sectors to explore the possibility of licensing their data or establishing other partnerships.
