Ripple (XRP) Retraces 10% as Investors Reposition in This $0.035 DeFi Crypto

Ripple (XRP) has entered a period of consolidation after retracing roughly 10% over the past week, prompting investors to reassess short-term risk and reposition capital amid shifting market dynamics. While XRP remains a well-established large-cap asset, recent price weakness has highlighted a broader trend across crypto markets: capital is gradually rotating away from overcrowded trades and toward early-stage opportunities with stronger upside asymmetry. In this environment, Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is rapidly emerging as a standout DeFi crypto attracting growing attention from both retail and strategic investors.

Currently priced at just $0.035 and nearing a full sellout in Phase 6 of its presale, MUTM has already secured close to $20 million in funding and built a community of more than 18,520 holders. Unlike speculative rotations driven purely by sentiment, interest in Mutuum Finance is being fueled by its utility-first approach, centered on decentralized lending, borrowing, and yield generation, alongside tangible milestones such as its upcoming V1 testnet launch. As investors look beyond short-term volatility in assets like XRP, projects with accelerating adoption and real DeFi fundamentals are increasingly being positioned as the top crypto opportunities for the next phase of market growth.

XRP Pulls Back 10% as Leverage Unwinds and Bearish Momentum Builds

Ripple (XRP) has retraced roughly 10% over the past week, including a 4.08% drop in the last 24 hours, as the token underperforms the broader crypto market amid a sharp leverage reset and weakening technical structure. Futures open interest has fallen to 2025 lows, pointing to fading speculative demand, while thin liquidity has magnified downside volatility. From a technical standpoint, XRP has lost the critical $1.95 Fibonacci support zone and continues to trade below key moving averages, keeping bearish momentum firmly in place. With $1.80 now emerging as the next major level to watch, traders remain cautious as price action searches for stability. Periods like this, where capital rotates away from stretched large-cap setups, often coincide with growing interest in emerging opportunities elsewhere in the market, an environment that is shining the spotlight on Mutuum Finance (MUTM) as a leading DeFi crypto.

Mutuum Finance Presale Phase 6 Nears Completion

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) has entered its sixth presale phase, which is now 98% sold out, highlighting strong investor demand. The presale has raised over $19.5 million, with more than 18,520 participants acquiring tokens at $0.035 each. Investors should note that Presale Phase 7 will see the token price rise to $0.04, a 14.3% increase from the current stage. Early participation is strongly advised to secure allocation before the presale concludes, positioning MUTM as the top crypto opportunity for early-stage cryptocurrency investment.

In addition, Mutuum Finance has launched its Official Bug Bounty Program in partnership with CertiK. Participants who report potential vulnerabilities can earn rewards from a $50,000 USDT pool, structured across four severity levels: critical, major, minor, and low. This program reinforces the platform’s commitment to security, transparency, and long-term reliability.

Comprehensive Collateral and Risk Management

Mutuum Finance employs robust measures to protect both the protocol and its users. The platform maintains target collateral ratios alongside deposit and lending caps to ensure systemic stability. Positions falling below required collateral levels are systematically liquidated, with penalties and guarantee mechanisms applied promptly to reduce risk exposure.

Lending efficiency is optimized through careful management of Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios, particularly for highly collateralized assets, ensuring effective utilization of capital. Additionally, reserve mechanisms serve as a safeguard against extreme market fluctuations, with excess reserves allocated to high-volatility assets to mitigate potential risks. These strategies collectively ensure that Mutuum Finance remains secure, stable, and resilient across diverse market conditions.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is nearly sold out in Phase 6, with 18,520+ holders and $19.5M raised. Tokens are $0.035 before Phase 7 rises to $0.04. Early investors can secure exposure to this utility-driven DeFi crypto before broader adoption, making it the top crypto for investors seeking strong fundamentals and high-growth potential.

U.S. Court Finds Pastor Found Guilty in $3M Crypto Scam

The post U.S. Court Finds Pastor Found Guilty in $3M Crypto Scam appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crime 18 September 2025 | 04:05 A Colorado judge has brought closure to one of the state’s most unusual cryptocurrency scandals, declaring INDXcoin to be a fraudulent operation and ordering its founders, Denver pastor Eli Regalado and his wife Kaitlyn, to repay $3.34 million. The ruling, issued by District Court Judge Heidi L. Kutcher, came nearly two years after the couple persuaded hundreds of people to invest in their token, promising safety and abundance through a Christian-branded platform called the Kingdom Wealth Exchange. The scheme ran between June 2022 and April 2023 and drew in more than 300 participants, many of them members of local church networks. Marketing materials portrayed INDXcoin as a low-risk gateway to prosperity, yet the project unraveled almost immediately. The exchange itself collapsed within 24 hours of launch, wiping out investors’ money. Despite this failure—and despite an auditor’s damning review that gave the system a “0 out of 10” for security—the Regalados kept presenting it as a solid opportunity. Colorado regulators argued that the couple’s faith-based appeal was central to the fraud. Securities Commissioner Tung Chan said the Regalados “dressed an old scam in new technology” and used their standing within the Christian community to convince people who had little knowledge of crypto. For him, the case illustrates how modern digital assets can be exploited to replicate classic Ponzi-style tactics under a different name. Court filings revealed where much of the money ended up: luxury goods, vacations, jewelry, a Range Rover, high-end clothing, and even dental procedures. In a video that drew worldwide attention earlier this year, Eli Regalado admitted the funds had been spent, explaining that a portion went to taxes while the remainder was used for a home renovation he claimed was divinely inspired. The judgment not only confirms that INDXcoin qualifies as a…

The post This U.S. politician’s suspicious stock trade just returned over 200% in weeks appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. United States Representative Cloe Fields has seen his stake in Opendoor Technologies (NASDAQ: OPEN) stock return over 200% in just a matter of weeks. According to congressional trade filings, the lawmaker purchased a stake in the online real estate company on July 21, 2025, investing between $1,001 and $15,000. At the time, the stock was trading around $2 and had been largely stagnant for months. Source: Finbold Assuming he invested a minimum of $1,001, the purchase would now be worth about $3,200, while a $15,000 stake would have grown to nearly $48,000, generating profits of roughly $2,200 and $33,000, respectively. OPEN’s stock rally Notably, Opendoor’s rally has been fueled by major corporate shifts and market speculation. For instance, in August, the company named former Shopify COO Kaz Nejatian as CEO, while co-founders Keith Rabois and Eric Wu rejoined the board, moves seen as a return to the company’s early innovative spirit.  Outgoing CEO Carrie Wheeler’s resignation and sale of millions in stock reinforced the sense of a new chapter. Beyond leadership changes, Opendoor’s surge has taken on meme-stock characteristics. In this case, retail investors piled in as shares climbed, while short sellers scrambled to cover, pushing prices higher.  However, the stock is still not without challenges, where its iBuying model is untested at scale, margins are thin, and debt tied to…
