MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court closed 3,735 cases in 2025, posting disposition rates of 19% for judicial cases and 27% for administrative and Bar matters.
On Tuesday, December 30, the Supreme Court released some of its notable rulings this year. These decisions cover separation of powers, accountability of public officers, social welfare, peace, order, labor, marriage, and family.
There are rulings related to the economy, commerce, tax, land, property rights, sales, contracts, supervision of the bench and the bar, and administration of justice. See the rulings below:
