Motus Closes Out 2025 with Breakthrough Innovation, Strategic Expansion, and Industry Recognition

From safer driving to smarter reimbursements, Motus advances the future of the business of driving.

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Motus, the leader in vehicle reimbursement, risk mitigation and productivity solutions for companies whose employees drive their own vehicles for work, is closing out 2025 with momentum across product innovation, strategic expansion and industry recognition. Over the past year, Motus strengthened its leadership in the business of driving, helping organizations better manage the costs, risk, and operational realities of employees who drive for work. The company also ends the year with $2.1 billion in approved reimbursements.

A Year That Redefined the Business of Driving

2025 marked a turning point for companies managing employees who drive as part of their job. Rising insurance costs, increasing compliance pressure and evolving workforce expectations pushed organizations to rethink long-standing vehicle programs. Motus entered the year ready for that shift and spent the next 12 months shaping what comes next.

“The business of driving touches finance, safety, operations and the employee experience,” said Phong Nguyen, CEO of Motus. “In 2025, leaders needed clarity and confidence more than ever. Our role was to give them both — through technology, data and insights that make every mile safer and more efficient.”

Expanding the Motus Platform with the Acquisition of Everlance

A defining milestone of the year came in February, when Motus announced the acquisition of Everlance, a mileage and expense tracking solution trusted by millions of drivers, small businesses and sole proprietors. Founded in 2015, Everlance was built to empower people who drive for work with intuitive tools to automatically track mileage, log expenses and maximize take-home pay, bringing a consumer-first experience to the business of driving.

The acquisition significantly expanded Motus’ ability to serve every kind of organization, from the largest enterprises with complex reimbursement and compliance needs to small businesses and independent professionals managing mileage on their own. Everlance’s top-rated mobile experience complements Motus’ enterprise-grade analytics, risk mitigation and reimbursement intelligence, which creates a broader, more flexible portfolio designed to help organizations optimize spend, reduce risk and improve productivity across the full spectrum of the driving workforce.

Raising the Bar on Safety with Road Smart

Motus launched Road Smart, a new addition to the Motus Protect suite designed to help employers proactively reduce risk. Road Smart delivers short, in-app training modules that fit naturally into a driver’s routine, equipping workers with real-world safety skills without adding administrative overhead.

“Road Smart embeds safety into the rhythm of work,” said Nguyen. “It’s practical, proactive, and grounded in what employees who drive for work actually need.”

Motus also delivered targeted upgrades to Insights Pro, giving Finance, HR and Operations leaders clearer visibility into productivity, territory performance and reimbursement efficiency across the business of driving.

Deepening Market Reach Through Strategic Partnership

Earlier in the year, Motus and Element Fleet Management announced a strategic partnership bringing together the leaders in reimbursement and fleet to give organizations a single, comprehensive solution for all drivers, whether they’re in passenger fleet vehicles or their own cars.

The partnership bridges operational silos and gives companies a unified view of costs, compliance, and driver performance across their entire mobile workforce.

Industry Recognition for Innovation and Impact

Motus’ commitment to customers and innovation earned national recognition this year. The company received the Gold Stevie® Award for Company of the Year in the 2025 American Business Awards® — highlighting exceptional customer outcomes, operational excellence, and product innovation.

Motus was also honored with the Inc. Power Partner Award, recognizing organizations that deliver outsized value and partnership to their clients.

“These awards reflect the trust that our customers place in us,” said Nguyen. “We take that responsibility seriously. Every improvement that we make, whether in safety, reimbursement accuracy, or analytics, is designed to help our customers navigate the business of driving with more clarity and confidence. This recognition reinforces that we’re solving real problems that matter to both leaders and their teams.”

The post Why The Green Bay Packers Must Take The Cleveland Browns Seriously — As Hard As That Might Be appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers are off to a 2-0 start. Getty Images The Green Bay Packers are, once again, one of the NFL’s better teams. The Cleveland Browns are, once again, one of the league’s doormats. It’s why unbeaten Green Bay (2-0) is a 8-point favorite at winless Cleveland (0-2) Sunday according to betmgm.com. The money line is also Green Bay -500. Most expect this to be a Packers’ rout, and it very well could be. But Green Bay knows taking anyone in this league for granted can prove costly. “I think if you look at their roster, the paper, who they have on that team, what they can do, they got a lot of talent and things can turn around quickly for them,” Packers safety Xavier McKinney said. “We just got to kind of keep that in mind and know we not just walking into something and they just going to lay down. That’s not what they going to do.” The Browns certainly haven’t laid down on defense. Far from. Cleveland is allowing an NFL-best 191.5 yards per game. The Browns gave up 141 yards to Cincinnati in Week 1, including just seven in the second half, but still lost, 17-16. Cleveland has given up an NFL-best 45.5 rushing yards per game and just 2.1 rushing yards per attempt. “The biggest thing is our defensive line is much, much improved over last year and I think we’ve got back to our personality,” defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said recently. “When we play our best, our D-line leads us there as our engine.” The Browns rank third in the league in passing defense, allowing just 146.0 yards per game. Cleveland has also gone 30 straight games without allowing a 300-yard passer, the longest active streak in the NFL.…
