CEX → DEX Move: Portfolio Hits $7.5K on Arbitrum/Base Chains

2026/01/03 17:59

Sharing my portfolio moves and actions — super satisfied with the knowledge I’ve gained. Working toward enough fee income with minimal personal activity. Still monitor regularly but learned to remove emotions and sudden moves unless fundamentals change.

Today: Started emptying CEX, moving to DEX 🙂 Binance first. Sticking to plan: Beefy to $10k, then VFAT (mainly Uniswap/Pancakeswap ETH+stable combos). Focused on Arbitrum/Base chains. Portfolio actually gained from LP fees 😊

Crypto Market Last Week (Dec 19–26) 📉

Consolidation with mild bear tone. BTC down 4–5% after $85k bounce, ETH hit harder from ETF dynamics. Market cap below $3T, rotation to low-beta tokens.

Weekly Moves:

Bitcoin (BTC): -4.6% (~$92,500 → $88,578), consolidating, testing $85k support.

Ethereum (ETH): -8–10% (~$3,300 → ~$2,950), weaker than SOL but Dec ETF inflows.

SUI: -10–15%, continuing weakness.

AERO: Mixed, +5–10% short-term but volatile, monthly down.

XRP: -8–12% (consolidating ~$2.2), broader market impact.

Other Technicals 🔍

SUI: Bearish momentum continues, weak indicators, no clear reversal.

AERO: Volatile, neutral RSI, short-term bounce in down week.

XRP: RSI ~46, MACD buy, neutral ADX; weekly consolidation post-drop, no strength.

Weekly Global News 🌍

  • BTC consolidation + ETF outflows (~$154M), miner capitulation easing.
  • Extreme Fear (index 16) = buy signal, rotation to BCH (+11%) & gold-backed tokens.
  • Options expiry (12/27) + tax-loss harvesting (12/31) = volatility ahead.

Gold Weekly 💰

Up ~2–3% above $4,500, bullish trend. RSI neutral (~49), MACD buy, support $4,435. Geopolitics + rates support growth despite crypto dip.

Portfolio Actions 💼

PAmm: Both BLUE HORSESHOE 2 investments +$6. Withdrew $97 from one broker — focusing on Beefy.

BITPANDA: +$4, now over $1,000 in S&P500, Nasdaq, gold, etc.

VFAT: 3 pools (ETH+stable) yielding ~$1/day fees. Flat now, funneling fees to Beefy until $10k target.

Krystal: Closed small pool, flat after week. Claimed some Base chain fees.

Gammaswap: Flat on both chains, too small to claim (expected).

Pendle: Slight gain, nothing major (mostly stables here).

Moonwell & AAVE: Flat or slightly better than last week.

NAVI: Weaker due to SUI underperformance.

Turbos: Would be down but claimed fees = flat 🙂 Vault suffered, consulted AI + analysis, closed it, moved to Cetus.

Cetus: Smaller across board but long-term loop strategy. Claimed fees, boosted 2 pools from Turbos transfer. Increased Haedal stake too.

Beefy: 🔥

🧠 Portfolio Summary

Metric Value Total Deposit ~$7,576 Vaults 9 Accrued Yield $1,620 Daily Yield $8.09

Structure:

BTC-pairs ≈ 70% (perfect for bull trend)

Stable-pairs ≈ 30%

Risk: Medium

Trend: 📉 Consolidation (PNL dips, yield flows)

🔁 Monthly Performance

Beefy auto-compounds:

  • Bull months = exponential effect
  • Dips = LP unit accumulation (works for you)

This month: Lower daily yield, more LP units

Market reversal → Yield spikes, no extra deposits needed

📈 The Plan

Adding to biggest BTC-focused vaults. If more dips, a hybrid DCA+VCA approach.

Just did: Moved $219 from CEX + harvested fees to BASE/Arbitrum.
