Kaya nga nung nakaraang linggo masasabi kong isa ako sa 89% ng Pinoy na bahagi ng year end Social Weather Survey ng SWS na may pag-asang hinaharap ngayong 2026 (89% of adult Filipinos entering the New Year with hope rather than fear).

“THE KING has been graciously pleased to give orders for the following promotions in, and appointments to, the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire: MBE… For services to Education.”

“When I read the report from the United Nations, I felt very passionate about it,” ika niya.

“And true to form, I wrote a letter to a number of government officials, extending my recommendations, extending my suggestions.”

“I was thinking maybe we can start a pilot in Tarlac, and if it becomes successful we can pilot it in the regional, then we can roll it out nationally. I didn’t hear back from them.”

Pangalawang sinulatan niya si Senador Bam Aquino, na bukod sa taga-Tarlac din ay, sabi ni Edison: “Because I thought he has a passion for education. I gave them a structure so that they legislate on Phonics (system) as the proper way of teaching. I haven’t heard from them either.

“The last person I’ve written to is his excellency the Philippine ambassador to London and I’ve given them a hard copy of the letter. I sent it to the commission… I haven’t heard from them as well.”

Tatlong liham.

The post Fed forecasts only one rate cut in 2026, a more conservative outlook than expected appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Chip Somodevilla | Getty Images The Federal Reserve is projecting only one rate cut in 2026, fewer than expected, according to its median projection. The central bank’s so-called dot plot, which shows 19 individual members’ expectations anonymously, indicated a median estimate of 3.4% for the federal funds rate at the end of 2026. That compares to a median estimate of 3.6% for the end of this year following two expected cuts on top of Wednesday’s reduction. A single quarter-point reduction next year is significantly more conservative than current market pricing. Traders are currently pricing in at two to three more rate cuts next year, according to the CME Group’s FedWatch tool, updated shortly after the decision. The gauge uses prices on 30-day fed funds futures contracts to determine market-implied odds for rate moves. Three officials penciled in three rate reductions next year. “Next year’s dot plot is a mosaic of different perspectives and is an accurate reflection of a confusing economic outlook, muddied by labor supply shifts, data measurement concerns, and government policy upheaval and uncertainty,” said Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management. The central bank has two policy meetings left for the year, one in October and one in December. Economic projections from the Fed saw slightly faster economic growth in 2026 than was projected in June, while the outlook for inflation was updated modestly higher for next year. There’s a lot of uncertainty…
