Cellula and ENI Collaborate to Introduce Proof-of-Work Mining to Web3 Gaming

Cellula, a leader in decentralized gaming, has entered an innovative partnership with the ENI chain. This partnership will create a new way for miners on the ENI blockchain to be rewarded for their work, which may fundamentally change how players interact with blockchain-based games in the future.

Introducing Proof-of-Work Spirit to Web3 Gaming

Cellula is integrating the ENI’s blockchain infrastructure toward bringing it what they call the “spirit and mechanism of PoW” in the gaming environment. The partnership entails a combination of traditional Proof of Work ideas with contemporary game play, i.e., BitLife and mining efforts on the ENI chain and creating a new incentive model for the players.

This move is part of a larger trend in Web3 gaming, and projects are looking to blockchain foundations with greater advancements to build greater utility and engagement. Like the more recent synergistic vehicles that combine lifestyle activities with reward, Cellula’s strategy is indicative of a move away from simple token driven models.

ENI’s Technical Infrastructure Advantage

ENI Chain provides significant technical capabilities to the partnership, purpose built to provide large scale commercial applications. It supports up to 10000 transactions per second and advanced parallel computing, thus enabling it to provide high throughput in the case of heavy demand. Its infrastructure is based on a triple layer EPoS consensus model which is a combination of vRF, Elturbobft and one more consensus layer which is used for performance, security and reliability.

Developers can create flexible applications in the Web3 ecosystem using modular designs that remove the restrictions imposed by monolithic blockchains. Modular blockchain architecture and AppChain Framework have assisted developers in creating these types of applications. Modular design is widely seen as the future of developing scalable blockchain infrastructures.

For Cellula, this means real benefits, managing massive amounts of player activity, supporting complex in-game economies and providing fast and responsive gameplay. The high TPS capacity is required to provide smooth user experience in transaction intensive gaming environments.

Strategic Implications for Blockchain Gaming

This collaboration signifies a broader transformation in the approach blockchain gaming projects take toward choosing their infrastructure. Rather than using general-purpose chains or starting single projects, the development community tends to move towards more specific solutions that can support their particular use cases. The use of PoW-inspired mining mechanics in a gaming setting may help to achieve a new type of player engagement model, where the computational contribution of the player is rewarded in addition to traditional gameplay achievements.

The collaboration is indicative of the development of the blockchain gaming industry as a whole and how technical savviness is becoming as important as gameplay innovation. Projects are moving beyond the initial hype phase and began to focus on characters and the sustainable ecosystem with a strong technical foundation. The focus on flexible and modular architecture does signal that Cellula is thinking longer-term and in terms of scalability and adaptability.

Conclusion

The gaming industry will be closely monitoring the use of these tools and resources by Cellula and ENI and will use many of their results as templates for how future blockchain gaming projects use a specialized infrastructure. Many projects will likely use these lessons learned and apply these lessons learned to build new partnerships within the global Web3 gaming ecosystem. This collaborative effort is another major move forward in the continued evolution of blockchain gaming towards mass and sustainable acceptance.

Top Solana Treasury Firm Forward Industries Unveils $4 Billion Capital Raise To Buy More SOL ⋆ ZyCrypto

The post Top Solana Treasury Firm Forward Industries Unveils $4 Billion Capital Raise To Buy More SOL ⋆ ZyCrypto appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Advertisement &nbsp &nbsp Forward Industries, the largest publicly traded Solana treasury company, has filed a $4 billion at-the-market (ATM) equity offering program with the U.S. SEC  to raise more capital for additional SOL accumulation. Forward Strategies Doubles Down On Solana Strategy In a Wednesday press release, Forward Industries revealed that the 4 billion ATM equity offering program will allow the company to issue and sell common stock via Cantor Fitzgerald under a sales agreement dated Sept. 16, 2025. Forward said proceeds will go toward “general corporate purposes,” including the pursuit of its Solana balance sheet and purchases of income-generating assets. The sales of the shares are covered by an automatic shelf registration statement filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission that is already effective – meaning the shares will be tradable once they’re sold. An automatic shelf registration allows certain publicly listed companies to raise capital with flexibility swiftly.  Kyle Samani, Forward’s chairman, astutely described the ATM offering as “a flexible and efficient mechanism” to raise and deploy capital for the company’s Solana strategy and bolster its balance sheet.  Advertisement &nbsp Though the maximum amount is listed as $4 billion, the firm indicated that sales may or may not occur depending on existing market conditions. “The ATM Program enhances our ability to continue scaling that position, strengthen our balance sheet, and pursue growth initiatives in alignment with our long-term vision,” Samani said. Forward Industries kicked off its Solana treasury strategy on Sept. 8. The Wednesday S-3 form follows Forward’s $1.65 billion private investment in public equity that closed last week, led by crypto heavyweights like Galaxy Digital, Jump Crypto, and Multicoin Capital. The company started deploying that capital this week, announcing it snatched up 6.8 million SOL for approximately $1.58 billion at an average price of $232…
