Marwin Shehadeh, group director of Emirati conglomerate Al Futtaim, says that it is targeting Saudi Arabia as its main channel of expansion because its activity in the kingdom was “not large enough”.
It has pledged $3 billion of investment in Saudi Arabia over the next three years, following its acquisition of almost 50 percent of Cenomi Retail.
