Technical analysis shows XLM trading at neutral RSI 48.87 with resistance at $0.23. Analyst forecasts suggest Stellar could reach $0.204-$0.270 range in January 2026.

XLM Price Prediction Summary

Short-term target (1 week): $0.24-$0.25
Medium-term forecast (1 month): $0.204-$0.270 range
Bullish breakout level: $0.25 (Upper Bollinger Band)
Critical support: $0.21-$0.22

What Crypto Analysts Are Saying About Stellar

While specific analyst predictions from major KOLs are limited in recent data, established forecasting platforms have provided concrete Stellar projections for January 2026.

According to MEXC News analysis from January 9, 2026: “Stellar (XLM) could trade between $0.204 and $0.270 in January 2026, with an average price of $0.214.”

CoinCodex offered a more immediate forecast on January 12, 2026, stating: “Over the next five days, Stellar will reach the highest price of $0.2415 on Jan 12, 2026, which would represent 3.19% growth compared to the current price.”

On-chain metrics suggest moderate trading activity with Binance spot volume reaching $8.16 million in the last 24 hours, indicating sustained but not explosive interest in XLM.

XLM Technical Analysis Breakdown

Stellar’s current technical setup presents a neutral-to-slightly-bullish picture at the $0.23 price level. The RSI reading of 48.87 sits firmly in neutral territory, suggesting neither overbought nor oversold conditions.

The MACD indicator shows interesting dynamics with both the MACD line and signal line at -0.0005, while the histogram reads exactly 0.0000. This configuration indicates bearish momentum is weakening and could potentially shift to bullish if buying pressure increases.

Bollinger Bands analysis reveals XLM trading at the middle band ($0.22) with a %B position of 0.54, suggesting the price is slightly above the 20-period moving average but well within normal volatility ranges. The upper band at $0.25 represents immediate resistance, while the lower band at $0.20 provides downside support.

Moving averages present a mixed picture: shorter-term SMAs (7-day and 20-day) align around $0.22-$0.23, while the 200-day SMA at $0.32 indicates XLM remains significantly below its longer-term trend line.

Stellar Price Targets: Bull vs Bear Case

Bullish Scenario

In an optimistic scenario, XLM price prediction suggests a move toward the upper Bollinger Band at $0.25, representing an 8.7% gain from current levels. A breakout above this resistance could target the analyst forecast range of $0.27, aligning with MEXC’s upper bound projection.

Technical confirmation for this bullish Stellar forecast would require:
– RSI breaking above 55-60 levels
– MACD histogram turning positive
– Daily volume exceeding the current $8.16 million average

Bearish Scenario

The downside risk centers around the strong support zone at $0.21-$0.22. A break below this level could trigger selling toward the lower Bollinger Band at $0.20, representing a 13% decline from current prices.

Key risk factors include:
– Overall crypto market sentiment deterioration
– Bitcoin weakness affecting altcoin performance
– MACD remaining in negative territory

Should You Buy XLM? Entry Strategy

Current technical levels suggest potential entry points around $0.22-$0.225 for those seeking exposure to Stellar. The neutral RSI provides room for upward movement without immediate overbought concerns.

  • Primary entry: $0.22-$0.225 (current support zone)
  • Stop-loss: Below $0.21 (strong support break)
  • Take-profit targets: $0.24-$0.25 (resistance levels)

Risk management remains crucial given the 14-day ATR of $0.01, indicating moderate daily volatility that could impact position sizing decisions.

Conclusion

This XLM price prediction suggests a cautiously optimistic outlook for Stellar through the remainder of January 2026. Technical indicators show neutral momentum with potential for upward movement toward the $0.24-$0.27 range, supported by analyst forecasts from established platforms.

However, the significant gap between current prices ($0.23) and the 200-day moving average ($0.32) indicates XLM remains in a longer-term downtrend that requires careful monitoring.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…
