TLDR

  • Nexo becomes the official digital asset partner of Audi Revolut F1 in a multiyear global deal
  • The crypto platform exited the U.S. in 2022 and re-entered in April 2025
  • Nexo aims to deliver global fan experiences and digital-first activations with the team
  • Audi’s 2026 F1 entry marks its first season, backed by digital sponsorship from Nexo

Crypto wealth platform Nexo has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Audi Revolut F1 Team, becoming its official digital asset partner. This partnership marks Nexo’s first-ever Formula 1 sponsorship and comes as Audi prepares to make its debut in the F1 grid this season.

The four-year partnership was announced on Friday, with both companies aiming to offer premium global experiences and digital engagement to fans. Nexo co-founder Antoni Trenchev said in a press release, “Nexo was built for a demanding reality: instant, self-directed, and always on. Partnering with Audi Revolut F1 Team at the start of their new era is a statement about how we see the future.”

Return to U.S. Market After Regulatory Exit

Nexo exited the U.S. market in 2022 following investigations by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Authorities had accused the company of offering unregistered securities through its Earn product.

However, the company re-entered the U.S. market in April 2025, following a private event attended by Donald Trump Jr. At that event, Trump Jr. said, “We see the opportunity for the financial sector and want to ensure we bring that back to the U.S.”

Now, with its return, Nexo is expanding its sponsorship strategy by aligning with global sports events, starting with Formula 1.

Sponsorship Strategy and Global Engagement

The agreement allows Nexo to create and deliver global fan experiences through exclusive access, digital content, and educational initiatives. These campaigns will focus on creating interactive brand experiences for both Audi Revolut’s global fanbase and Nexo’s user community.

Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer of Audi Revolut F1 Team, said, “The partnership reflects a shared ambition to scale with discipline and innovation, and to create tangible value.”

As the team’s digital asset partner, Nexo will activate its brand across platforms, including F1 events and digital channels, throughout the duration of the partnership. The company stated it will focus on next-generation fan engagement with immersive digital experiences.

Nexo Expands Presence in Sports Sponsorships

Before this F1 sponsorship, Nexo already had visibility in sports through its partnerships with tennis tournaments, including the Australian Open and the Dallas Open. The addition of Formula 1 to its portfolio reflects Nexo’s aim to build brand awareness in key international markets.

The Formula 1 space has seen increasing crypto activity in recent years. Crypto.com has partnered with the F1 series for multiple seasons, and Coinbase became the official crypto sponsor of Aston Martin’s F1 team. In 2024, Sauber partnered with crypto casino Stake for a two-year deal.

Nexo’s token (NEXO) saw a 2.7% price increase over the past 24 hours. Its market cap is just under $1 billion, according to The Block’s pricing data.

Token Unlock Wave Highlights Supply Overhang for Traders

The post Token Unlock Wave Highlights Supply Overhang for Traders appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Altcoins 20 September 2025 | 04:17 Crypto traders are facing a steady drip of new supply this month, as project teams and early backers release fresh tokens into circulation. What looks like small percentages on paper is building into meaningful selling pressure across multiple ecosystems. Unlocks Becoming a Market Theme According to an analytics tracker, the past week alone saw millions of dollars’ worth of new coins enter the market from projects such as AltLayer, Blast, Avail, Venom, and Parti. AltLayer added roughly $3.5 million in tokens, while Blast introduced more than $2.3 million. In both cases, the amount represented less than 3% of circulating supply — yet the inflows still weighed heavily on trading sentiment. More Supply Ahead The trend is far from over. Another round of unlocks is scheduled for the week of September 22–28, with AltLayer once again leading the pack. By the time its next batch goes live, over 42% of its total supply will have been released. Other names, including KARRAT, XMW, and Yield Guild Games (YGG), will also add to the flow with their own token distributions. Unlocks matter because they create a constant overhang. Even if each release looks minor, stacked together week after week, they erode the balance between supply and demand. AltLayer’s back-to-back schedule makes this clear: the market isn’t just dealing with isolated events but with a pipeline of tokens waiting to be sold. Bigger Picture For traders, that means strategy has to adjust. Pricing these unlocks into positions becomes just as important as monitoring macro conditions or ETF inflows. While unlocks don’t guarantee downward pressure, the compounding effect is already a defining feature of September’s market — one that could shape trading dynamics well into the fourth quarter.
