PANews reported on January 19th that Magic Eden announced that starting February 1st, the platform will directly inject 15% of all revenue into the ME token ecosystem to establish long-term value sharing between the platform and the ecosystem. This revenue will be distributed equally: 50% will be used to repurchase ME tokens on the open market, and 50% will be distributed to $ME stakers in USDC according to their staking weight. This will replace the previous repurchase mechanism, which was limited to market revenue. USDC rewards can be claimed monthly, with the first claim opening in March. Rewards must be claimed within 90 days; otherwise, they will expire.
